Born into the wrong house [Draco X Reader]

"Are you coming to the game later?" Asked Harry as we were sitting in the grand hall for breakfast.

"Yeah i'll be there." I replied.

"Let's hope Pansy isn't there, she is always butting into convocations." Hermione said.

"Mhm." Knowing my luck she is definitely going to be there. I don't think she will say anything because Cedric will be with me. She doesn't scare me anyways.

"What house are you guys against?" Hermione asked.

"Hufflepuff." Said Ron.

Harry looked at me as soon as Ron said it as that's Cedrics house.

"We're going to win because we're the best house, isn't that right y/n?" Said Harry.

I nodded. Harry knew what he was doing and it was getting on my nerves. I couldn't see Cedric anywhere in the the hall so i went to look for him.

"I'm going to go to the common room, i'll meet you guys in Muggle studies." I said.

I got up from the table and could see Draco's eyes watching me as i walked. But i didn't look, i carried on walking. I saw a tall, brown haired boy walk towards me.

"What are you doing here y/n! Have you eaten yet?" Cedric asked me with a smile on his face.

"Well i was actually looking for you.. yes i've eaten i'm fine." I replied looking up at him.

"Aw, worried about me where you?" He said laughing. "Coming to the game tonight?."

"Definitely." I said. What lesson do you have next?"

"Muggle studies." He said.

"Me too!"

We both walked down the huge hallways of hogwarts to our lesson. As we walked into the class, i went and joined Harry and the others at the front, while Cedric went to his friends at the back.

"I guess we're not going to have any problems now y/n, if your with Diggory ." Said Pansy.

I just ignored her before i said something i'd regret. I haven't been here long i don't want arguments already. She was the only exception to be fair. The class felt like it went on for hours. I could also feel three pairs of eyes glued to the back of my head, Draco's, Pansys and Cedrics. The lessons i had after muggle studies went on for hours, at least it felt like it. After last lesson, the four of us headed back to Gryffindor common room.

Ron And Harry got ready into their Quidditch gear as quick as they could. They grabbed their brooms and shouted "See you later girls!" and left.

Hermione was wrapped up in a coat also wearing a scarf and gloves. "Your going to be cold wearing that." She said to me.

I was wearing a long sleeve cropped t shirt with a pair of jeans. "I'll be fine" I replied.

An hour or two went by and then we left to go to the Quidditch field. We walked onto the field . As we were about to make our way to one of the Gryffindor towers Hermione stopped and said "You sure your not cold?"

"Maybe a little." i said as we carried on walking. But then i felt a tap on the shoulder. I turned around to see Cedric holding a yellow hoodie with the Hufflepuff logo on.

"You must be freezing!" He said as he handed me the hoodie with a huge smile on his face. "I'll see you later!"

"Thanks, good luck!" I said.

I put on the hoodie but i generally felt like i was breaking the law. A Gryffindor wearing a Hufflepuff hoodie must be illegal in the wizarding world. We made our way up to the top of the Gryffindor tower.

"Y/l/n, why are you wearing a yellow hoodie?" Draco asked from the tower next to ours.

"Why does it matter to you?" I replied.

"Why does it look way to big for you?" Draco asked.

"Because it's Cedrics." I said looking forward again to watch the game. Draco looked super annoyed, but i didn't even care.

"You guys would be cute together!" Said Hermione.

"Me and Draco? God no!" I said laughing.

"Oh no of course not Draco, gosh that would be awful. I mean Cedric silly!" She said.

"Maybe." I said with a smile.

The game wasn't on for long. Hufflepuff won pretty quickly. Hermione and I made our way down to the field to go get Ron and Harry.

"You guys did great!" Said Hermione. "Maybe next time though."

"Well done boys." I said, but then Cedric came over. "Well done you won!" I said as i hugged him. Harry walked off and Hermione and Ron followed.

"See you in the common room y/n" Said Hermione turning round as she walked.

"Okay."

"Y/n i wanted to ask you something." Said Cedric looking at me straight in the eyes. "I've never generally clicked with someone like i have with you. I know we only met a few weeks ago but i really like you, and was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"

"Oh my gosh yes!" I said as i wrapped my arms around him. As it was getting late he walked me to Gryffindor common room.

"What on earth do you think your doing out of your rooms this late?" Said Professor McGonagall. "Your an hour past Curfew!" As i went to speak Cedric interrupted.

"I'm so sorry Professor. I was just walking her back from the game to make sure she got back safely." He said panicking.

"I'll let you both off this time but next time it will be detention! Now go to your common rooms." She said.

I walked into the silent Gryffindor common room and shut the door behind me as quietly as i could.

"Someone's late back." Said Harry.

"Oh yeah i was just walking slow." I replied.

"How's Cedric? Must be happy he won the game." Harry said.

"Look Harry, i'm not sure what you had in your head with me but i'm with Cedric now, and i don't want us to fall out over it okay?" I said as i walked into the girls dorm.

In the morning at breakfast i told Hermione and Ron the news. And then went to meet Cedric to walk to Potions with him. Cedric put his arm round me as we walked into potions. I went and joined Harry, Ron and Hermione at the front and sat down.

          "So i was right about you Diggory? Finally that means you'll be laying of Draco." Said Pansy.

          "So that's what you have against me? you really think i'm gunna take your boyfriend?" I replied turning round in my chair to face her.

        "Pansy? My girlfriend? Oh please never again." Draco laughed along with the other Slytherin boys.

          "Good luck with that one Pansy, by the looks of things he doesn't want you anyways." I said turning back to face the front.

          "You and Cedric won't last i know what he's like." She said. I completely ignored her and carried on with the potions lesson. I wanted to be with Cedric and stupid Pansy couldn't stop me...
