"Okay-" you start and take a deep breath before continuing.
The boys look at you with wide eyes.

"First I want to say that I love you both, in different ways, but I do love you both. Chris, I love you so much, you comfort me, you have fun with me, you make me laugh uncontrollably."

You pause for a moment and let out a little laugh.

"What's funny?" The boys ask.
"I feel like I'm on a tv show right now." You laugh hysterically.
"You're a dork." Chris laughs.

"Anyways- Bryan, I love you, unconditionally, with my whole heart. You found a spark in me that I didn't know I had. And I really can't thank you enough for that."
"You both treat me like a princess in your own ways. And as much as I wish none of this ever happened. I'm glad I did."

You take a deep breath before say your final thought.

"I choose, neither of you." You sigh.

"What?" They say together.

"This weekend I have come to realize that, Chris, I can't date you. I don't want to ruin what we have friendship wise. And Bryan, as much as I wish I could've just said your name, I can't. I lost a lot of trust for you when I came to visit and it's going to take a lot for you to gain that trust back." You say letting a tear flow down your face.

"(Your Name)" Chris starts. "I love you, and I'm honestly glad you didn't choose me, because, I feel the same way. It was fun, we have fun together, but I believe we are better as friends." He says walking over to you and placing a gentle kiss upon your cheek. You kiss his cheek back and he walks out of the room.

"Say something. Please." You say looking at Bryan.

"I just- I- I'm sorry." He says sadly.

"Don't be. Please." You say looking at him.

"Do you think you could ever give me the chance again? You know, to love you properly?" He asks reaching for you.

You straddle his lap and lay your head on his shoulder. "In time." You whisper.

"I'll wait for you." He whispers back.

You close you eyes tightly as you wrap your arms around him and let a tear roll down your cheek.
