"Hailey!" I heard my dad shout. "Come down here." I got up and went downstairs.
Dad: "Hailey, I have to go out of town for a month on a very important business trip. While I'm gone you're going to be left alone here with Lisa. I want you to behave and be nice to her. She's your mother now so you have to do what she says, okay?"
Hailey: "Urgh, fine. But she's not my mom. "
Dad: "I dont care what you think. Do what she says, she'll be in charge of you for the next month. I'm leaving early tomorrow morning so I want to say goodbye."
Hailey: "Bye dad. I love you"
I give my dad a hug and head upstairs to bed. Was he serious? He expects me to survive an entire month with his stupid wife in charge of me? As if, if that bitch gets in my way then I'll start crying on the phone to my dad and she'll be in big trouble. My dad and Lisa got married 2 months ago and she's already taken over the majority of our has with her stuff. She's a 29 year old hypnotist whos been ruining my life lately.
