Chapter 5

I walked into my house and I was greeted by Zac. "Why are you home so late?" "Detention stupid teacher we were just passing notes and he read them out loud, like who does that." I said to him throwing my hands up in frustration, he just chuckled and walked away.

"Zac I'm not having tea at home tonight I'm going out," I said making my way to the fridge and grabbing out a yogurt and a bottle of water. "Where are you going?" he said from the living room, "I'm going out for dinner with someone," I said walking into the living room and sitting on the couch with my brother as we watched the TV.

Suddenly the door bell rang "I'll get it it's only Lola," I said shooting out of my seat and headed towards the door.

"Ok so I have brought all these clothes so you can choose what to wear," Lola said before she even stepped into the door.

"Just settle Lol, come inside and relax," I told her. Making our way up to my bedroom as she instructed me to have a shower while she picked out what I should wear.

I had a 15 minute shower washing my hair in my vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner and shaved my legs. I wrapped the towel around myself and quickly blow dried my hair I came out and grabbed my clothes that Lola had picked out. I then went back into the bathroom and changed into the yellow dress that had long sleeves and complemented my curves nicely. I came out and Lola did my make up lightly and she did my hair in a beautiful braid.

I looked at my phone reading the time 6:45. 15 minuets till he'll be here. Lola and I just talked until I heard the doorbell rang.

I raced down the stairs and opened the front door. "Good evening Indi," said Hunter passing me a bunch of red roses. "Why thank you," I said leaving the roses on the bench.

I yelled out to Zac and grabbed my purse "I'm going!" Lola came prancing down the stairs "you two have a great time and use protection." I slapped myself in embarrassment "sorry about that," "it's alright princess. Come let's go."

I walked over to his car as he opened the door for me. "What a gentlemen," I said to him, "I'll do anything for you Indi," with that comment I was lost for words "thanks" I said nervously. Why was he so nice?

We sat in the car just chatting. "Where are we going?" I asked out of curiosity, "that's for me to know and you to find out."" How long does it take to get there?" "About 10 more minutes," he replied, I sat back and turned up the radio.

We eventually arrived at a gorgeous lake, I then noticed the blanket set up on the ground surrounded by candles, pillows and a picnic basket.

"Wow this is gorgeous Hunter I never knew you were the romantic type." "It's gorgeous because I'm here with you, there a lot of things you don't know about me either princess."

With that we sat down on the blanket and Hunter got out the food. Yum spaghetti bolognas and strawberries dipped in chocolate for dessert.

"This is so nice, I said licking my lips and savouring every bit of food." "I'm glad you like my cooking," "you cooked this, I said in shock that he could cook, wow your a good cook." "Yeah it's a hidden talent, he said chuckling.

After we had finished our lovely meal we just talked for a while then I noticed a canoe, "can we take that out on the lake," I asked pointing to the canoe. "Sure," we hopped in the canoe with the and started paddling. "

Why did you bring me out here?" I asked breaking the silence "it's just a place where I come and think, it's like a get away from all the mayhem in my life, Hunter said. "Yeah it's so nice out here." After paddling around for a while and just talking about nearly everything we went back to the blanket and packed everything up and Hunter drove me home.

It was getting close to 11, "I had a really great night tonight Hunter," "I'm glad, maybe we could do it again sometime?" He suggested, "yeah sure."

As Hunter pulled up at my house he lent in and kissed me fiercely he lifted me off the passenger seat and onto his lap so I was straddling his
waist we kept kissing until I saw the outside lights flick on.

"Shit! I better go Hunter before they see, thanks for a perfect night, I said climbing over to the passenger seat and kissing him on the cheek.

"Goodnight Princess," he said kissing my forehead.

As I walked up to the front door I thought about tonight's events what a perfect night with the perfect boy.

Little did I know at that time my life would change forever.
