"Dr. Reese, your 11 o'clock is here," I hear my receptionist say over the speaker phone.

"Send them in, please," I hang up the phone and prepare for my next couple of patients. I grab a fresh notepad and pen, clean around my office, and fix my clothes and glasses before the couple enters my office.

I hear a knock on the door as I continue tidying things around. "Come in," I say as they sit in my chair. As usual, the next couple walks in and sits on both ends of the couch, facing the other direction. "Okay, Mr. and Mrs...." I look at the paper on the table, and my eyes widen, "Sawyer, can I start by asking what made you two come to marriage counseling?"

I couldn't believe these two were the ones I was counseling. They're always on TV and in Magazines, smiling and loving each other. They are the primary power couple in the world. I remember when they first came out to the public, and everyone backlashed Venus because she was black and ten years younger than Carter. The media called her all types of names, from a gold digger to a ghetto sugar baby.

"I only came here because the judge ordered us to come before I finalized my divorce with..." Mrs. Sawyer pauses and stares at Mr. Sawyer, "This 'man,' and I can be free, happy, and away from him for as long as I live. Also, please call me Venus. I don't want you to call me that cheater's name." She rolls her eyes.

I look down and begin to write in my notepad as the couple talks. "Venus, how many times do I say I'm sorry for what I've done? It was a one-time thing, I promise," Carter pleaded.

"Fucking the same woman multiple times does not make it a 'one-time thing.'" Venus snaps back at Carter, "I should've canceled this arranged marriage when I had the chance. But I was so stupid to be caught in your charm that I did it."

"Wait a minute. Were you two arranged to be married?" I ask out of nowhere. Venus rolls her eyes, "Sadly, we were," Venus answers.

This is my first time dealing with a couple who were arranged to be married. The tension in the office was so thick you could cut it with a butter knife. Venus kept checking her watch and playing with her nails, while Carter admired Venus as a Goddess.

"So..." I clear my throat, "let's start with how you two met. What was it like when you two met? I remember hearing about your engagement on the news, social media, magazines, etc. Let's start with you, Venus; tell me what happened when you first met Carter. What was your  experience when you first saw him?"

She lets out a deep sigh, "Fine, but get comfy and be prepared because a lot of things happened when I first met Carter Sawyer..."

Yes, I am back after my book got reported and deleted. At first, I wasn't going to rewrite this book after Wattpad took it down, but I love my readers too much and brought it back. I'm going to try to remember everything that happened in this book. A few things are going to be different. So I suggest that the readers who have read this book reread it.
