     It was a Wednesday evening, 8:45pm. The employees are ready to log off their work accounts, clients are leaving after a long day of sale-pitching madness and the heads of Bratz Inc. clock out for the night. On the third floor of the financial department, a young female dressed in a red fluffy blouse and a floral skirt bounces out of her head office. She was tired, but excited for what was going to happen in the next 15 minutes. She traveled to the first floor in search of her friend.

     "Kayyyyy! Hey girl!" exclaimed Dina. Dina was dressed in pink denim jeans and a magenta long sleeve crop top, jogging to give Kay a hug.

     "Hey Dina! How are you doing today?" Kay responded as she came for the hug sent.

     "I'm good! What did you do today?"

     They continue the conversation while walking to the elevator to head to the basement parking lot.

     "I didn't do much except file some taxes for the week. I surprisingly had a slow client day. What about you? Have you found a job yet?"

     "Nah. I'm not really interested yet, plus I wanna finish college first without distractions anyway."

     "You do know that you have to live on your own soon, right? Wouldn't you want to not rely on your parent's money before you have to buy or rent a place?"

     "Eh, that's a later struggle."

     The elevator dings to signal that the two reached the basement parking floor. Kay and Dina head out and briskly walk to the wall on the opposite side of the elevator, when Kay suddenly hears additional footsteps. Kay stops walking and holds Dina's arm to stop her from continuing. Kay impulsively yells;

     "Who the hell is here?!" she quickly turns to where she thought the sound came from and runs to that area.

     "Kay, where the fuck are you going?! You don't even have defense!" Dina calls out. She follows, reaching towards her back pocket and holds her stun gun, ready to pull it out and aim. In a matter of five seconds, a man rushes out behind a car and tries to faux-attack Kay.

     "Come here!" yells the tall, muscular man dressed in an all black tight t-shirt and sweatpants. Kay screams as she doesn't realize it's her coworker and love interest. Dina recognizes who it is and sighs aloud.

     "Chingón! Can you not do that? I almost thought you were mercenary! I was this close to testing my new gun on you!" Dina scolds the man. Kay turns her back to Chingón, avoiding to show tears welting in her eyes by the genuine scare. Dina realizes Kay was startled, but she showed little remorse. "I don't know why you even tried to investigate, what would happen if you actually got hurt and I wasn't here with my fancy gun?"

     "Why do you have that gun in the first place? I know that type of gun and the voltage is lethal. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to even possess it." Chingón chimed in, giving Kay a backwards hug and resting his head on her shoulder. He then focuses on her. "You okay?"

     "Yeah, I'm fine. Were you waiting for us?" questioned Kay, removing herself from the position she's in to face Chingón.

     "Yeah..."

     "Sir, how long have you been waiting there?"

     "Let's not question it my dear."

     "Well how about we get to our destination first and then you guys can be flirty? We'll be late." Dina interrupts. She looks at her phone, with the diamonds on her phone case reflecting in the sunset (and in Kay and Chingón's eyes). "Kay, did you get the key card?"
