"Fine" I huffed

We finally arrived to a white, 2-story house. I saw a tan tall teenage boy, a tall man, and a beautiful middle-aged woman she was petite.

"Here we go" I mumbled to myself

"Hello Jasmine, we have a lots of explaining to do, but we will figure that out once were inside. Come on in!" The woman greeted us with a warm smile
I really liked her, I got a good vibe from her. ( I get vibes from people, i usually ignore it)

"Thank you uhh... "I said

"Melissa" she said

I gave her a smile and followed her inside the house. It was a modern, welcoming, decent house. I liked it. She lead us to a larger room, which I'm guessing is the living room

She stopped and motion for us to sit, so I sat down, but my father quickly decline with an arrogance.

"Jeesh what an ass" i mumbled to myself

I heard the teenage boy stifle a laugh, I look over and he quickly hid it, and his face became serious.

"I am here to drop off Jasmine to her new home, I am sure I won't be here long." Tom said

"Why don't you stay for dinner, you must be starving during that drive."Melissa said

No, I am fine. He said

I rolled my eyes, he can't go 30 minutes without eating.

"Well Jasmine, why don't you tell us about your self" the tall man said

"I like t-"started

"I can answer that for ya" Tom started "she does nothing to help you, she's always on her phone, she gives attitude and sarcasm like you wouldn't believe , pretty much sums up my life with her." He said

"Uh EXCUSE YOU I'm pretty sure he was talking to me, not you, I can answer it myself ." I raised my voice

"Young lady what did I say about your tone" he said

"YOU can't tell me what to do " I said proudly

"I'm outta here !" He shouted
He turned to the family " oh and by the way good luck dealing with her ass, I've tried for 15 years! Pshh I'm glad I'm done."

With that he slammed the door, and left.

I just stood there shocked. Not because of what happened with Tom. But I just thought of the turning points of my future. MY LIFE IS GOING TO CHANGE.
