As the competition goes on, it gets tougher and tougher. Variety of rappers got into the competition from experienced ones to amateurs. Both Bobby and B.I impressed the judges, and eventually gaining some criticism from other contestants such as the issue of them being 'idol-rappers'.
Bobby's goal on joining SMTM3 is to break the prejudice against idol rappers. With this in mind they made their very best to survive.
It was smooth on Bobby's side while B.I got rough start since he always forgets his lyrics.
B.I once said that he is ashamed since he is not just carrying his name but also his label YG Entertainment.
B.I wanted to redeem himself, with that thought he composed the track 'Be I' which got great response from the producers, audience, and even topped the real time charts. Jinhwan was also there to support him and Bobby. /shown in M&M/
Unfortunately, B.I got eliminated after that round but B.I was not regretful. He was satisfied that his last stage went well.
Fans watched out as Bobby continued the battle, claiming the title 'SHOW ME THE MONEY3 CHAMPION'
At his victory he said that he'll buy his Mom a house for them to live in Korea together.
