DJ x Brick x Reader (high-school)

I woke up at now 3pm because we slept in, and I removed Bricks hands to get up, but doing that, woke him up. "What time is it?" He said rubbing his eyes "um... how do you feel about waking up at 3?" I said looking at the time on my phone "Ugh, who cares" he said which confused me considering he hates waking up late.

I walked to my wardrobe and pulled out a cropped purple sweater with black denim shorts and black heeled boots. Brick got up since he was still in what he was wearing and went to leave my room but I quickly went and grabbed his hand before he could open the door, "what is it?" He said raising an eyebrow
I kissed him on the cheek and walked out not saying anything.

I grabbed my phone from out my pocket and started texting leshawna considering I wanted to go shopping. "Hey leshawna wanna go shopping? Cause I'm going with Brick whether he likes it or not" I texted "yeah, I'll invite Gwen and Lindsay if you don't mind" she texted back "cool, I'll meet you down near the centre" I texted in which she just sent a thumbs up emoji. "BRICK!" I shouted which made him come downstairs "what?" He said confused
"Wanna go shopping with me, leshawna and a couple others?" I asked "um why are you inviting me" he said raising an eyebrow
"Cause I can, now yes or no?" I said fiddling with my phone "sure I just have to change first.." he said looking at his clothes

Brick left to change and I walked down to the centre which wasn't that far (ima call the shopping centre the centre cause I'm lazy)
I texted Brick to give him locations and leshawna was now walking down with Lindsay who looked like an excited kid and Gwen who was crossing her arms considering she hates being in public

"Hey babes, I said hugging leshawna "how's it going sugar" she said hugging me back
We waited for Brick to show up which only took 5 minutes considering he didn't live that far from me. "Hey brunch!" Lindsay said completely butchering his name "um did she just call me?-" I cut him off quickly "shut up, now where do we go first?" I said glancing at each shop "I see a hot topic and that's a hot gold mine for me" Gwen said walking off "OOO I KNOW" Lindsay screamed "what is it then?" Leshawna said confused

"We could go to this new shop called ____!" Lindsay said as she ran towards it we all walked cause of how close it was and entered only for it to be a woman's clothing shop which made Brick raise an eyebrow "don't tell me I have to carry all your bags" he said "oh nooo of course not" I said sarcastically

We bought a bit too many clothes and Gwen finally met back up with us when we were at the food court. We all chose different foods (personally I like McDonald's cause I'm basic but ya know xx) I grabbed ____ and sat down next to Brick who looked bored which made me sigh "Brick why don't we go shop for something army related?" I said looking at him as his eyes lit up.

I finished eating and went with Brick to an army shop cause I can't think of a good name for one 💅 he searched for something he'd like and ended up getting army tags or whatever they're called and hung them around his neck which looked cute.

"Happy?" I asked smiling as we walked back
"Ecstatic" He said still looking at them
We got there and I sat down with Brick "hey so what did Brick get?" Leshawna said "he got army tags or whatever they're called but he won't take his eyes off them so there's that" I said shrugging

"This place is boring, we should go somewhere more fun" Gwen said standing up "I agree" i said now getting up leshawna and Lindsay just followed gwen and me with Brick now catching up. We went back to our houses to drop of our stuff and then all met back up at gwens house.

"Why don't we go to the fair? I heard that they were in town this week." Leshawna said
"Yeah sure I'm down" Gwen said as I just nodded. We all walked down to where it was being hosted and bought wristbands for 1 hour. Me and brick got on the teacups considering I hate most rides and I asked him to.

"Thanks for getting me these tags" he said clutching them tightly "it's fine Brick we are friends after all" I said which made Brick frown a little but whatever. As the ride was now slowing down Brick accidentally dropped his tags which Made brick leap toward me trying to catch them.

Is it time I mention I caught them? I looked up at brick blushing considering he was basically on top of me "I caught your tags... but can you get off?" I said looking away. The ride had now stopped "yeah.. sorry but thanks" he said taking the tags and getting off me and the ride.

I got up and went to go on a huge swing like ride with Gwen and Brick. "Um I don't really wanna do this.." I said looking at gwen "don't be a chicken" she said which made me sigh "it will be fine I'll even hold your hand if you want" Brick said offering me his hand which I took as I got on the ride and got strapped in.

The swing was now going up and so was my heart-rate, I looked at brick as I squeezed his hand because I hate heights. Brick put another arm on my arm basically showing me it's fine. I started to relax a little now looking out at the other rides.

The ride was now finished and I got off quickly still holding bricks hand "Ugh.. I hate you gwen.." I said burying my head into Bricks chest "cool, but do you guys wanna-" She was gonna say a ride but I cut her off quickly "NO!" I said as i was walking off detached from Brick.

I left the fair and went out to the sitting field where Lindsay joined me "hey Y/N! So I was thinking why don't we-" she was gonna ask something but I cut her off now crossing my arms "No, I'm not going on another ride" I said looking at her "oh okay, byee!" She said cheerily as she ran back into the fair

I laid down on the grass and just looked at the clouds until a somewhat big figure sat down next to me. "Didn't expect you to be here" DJ said looking at me "shut up Bri- wait why are you here" I said now sitting up "nothing I was just here to go on the rides but I seen you laying here soo.." DJ said "okay? You can go now" I said now laying back down closing my eyes "nah I'll chill with you" DJ insisted "don't disturb me then" I said
