"There is more hope now that our nephew has returned to us than there ever has been during the entire course of his absence. The flame of the West has grown with his return." she said simply.

Poseidon, Demeter, Ares, Athena, the twins, and Hermes smiled warmly. Knowing that she had turned her back and failed Perseus the one time that he needed her therefore in his eyes she had no part in his family, Hera had to blinked back the tears that formed in her eyes.

Her tears however did not go unnoticed by her older sister. Hestia, who despite the way they treated her, loved her younger siblings so she decided to change the subject.

"However, I believe that was not the reason this meeting was called." the Goddess of Hearth said.

Zeus immediately remembered the reason he had called the meeting.

" Yes," He bellowed. "Perseus has not changed. He is still a threat to the council. His actions at Camp Half-Blood has shown this!"

"Yes, father." Dionysus cried. "Make him pay for humiliating me in my domain in front of those brats."

"Oh, shut up boozy," Apollo said rolling his eyes. "It's Perseus' domain. As we all know the vote for Perce's banishment was rubbish. Be grateful he's too disgusted with some of this council to want his throne back because that's the only reason your still permitted at this meeting."

"He's right," Poseidon said before Zeus could retort. "Besides we have more important matters to discuss. The Labyrinth's entrance to the camp has been exposed."

"Because of Perseus!" Zeus roared. "Which I will not stand for! The only reason Hades' brat found it is because Perseus destroyed my-."

"Whatever father," Artemis interrupted. To put it frankly, she didn't want to hear his bitching. "You'd already sent me to find the entrance anyway."

"Well it's been found," Athena said smirking.

"A quest must be issued." Ares said. The majority of the council nodded.

"Indeed, prehaps Thalia can lead it." Apollo suggested. "She showed herself capable on the last quest."

"No," Zeus said firmly. The council all turned to look at him surprised.

"Are you saying your child is not fit to lead brother?" Demeter asked with her eyebrow raised.

"No," Zeus said haughtily. "As my daughter she is more than capable. However the girl will be sixteen on the morrow. She can not be permitted to live."

"What!" half the council asked loudly in surprising unison for a group that spent the majority of their time together arguing.

"You have done enough to that girl Zeus!" Poseidon said raising with his trident in hand. "I will not let you touch a single hair on her head."

Zeus shot to his feet as well, his master bolt flashing into his hands.

"Do not presume to-" he began to shout back when Artemis rose.

"Poseidon is right. Put an end to your foolishness." she said. "We all know Perseus would never allow you to harm her, and neither will I. Beside we have no need to worry about Thalia. I have heard her prayers, and seen it in her mind. She intends to seek a place with me and my hunters."

Zeus opened his mouth but closed it again knowing that there was nothing he could say. Finally he said, "Very well, but that means that Hades brat is in line to be the child of the prophecy. I will not permit our fates depend on that girl."

"There is nothing you can do about it if you seek for more time to prepare for the war," came the deep voice of Hades as he appeared from a shadow near the door of the throne room. "You swore to leave both of my children be."
