Two weeks later.

The morning feel, I woke up in Freddie and Mary's guest room. Their bed was wonderful, it was so soft and comfortable.

I missed Roger at night, it was so quiet without his snoring. Fortunately it was a big day today, he was allowed to go home.

I got up and washed my face, I was very tired. In these two weeks I got very little sleep. Because of the nightmares I got through.

I walked into the living room, "Good morning." I yawned.  "Good morning too, today is the big day, right?" Freddie asked. I nodded and sat on the couch. "Absolutely, Roger is really a lucky man to go home!"

It was 10 am, time to get Roger!

---

We had arrived at the hospital and were immediately shown to his room. Freddie opened his door. Roger was sitting on his bed reading a magazine. He had his own clothes on.

"You are already there, great!" Roger said in an excited voice. "We will never be late on a special day!" Freddie said.

Roger had a bandage on his head, plaster on his hand. A plaster on his nose and other bandages.

"I can't get out of bed properly yet." Roger said. I had an idea, "Honey, I'll get you a wheelchair." I said. Roger nodded and looked happy. "Thank you, that will work, dear."

I walked down the hall to rent a wheelchair, luckily things weren't expensive. They had beautiful colors, yellow, blue, green, pink, red. Everything!

I took the blue one, drove the wheelchair back to Roger's room.  "Look what I have?" I said. Roger blushed. I helped him to get into the wheelchair.

The doctor came in, he gave Roger crutches to walk with. "Thank you very much, and thank you very much for your good care!" Roger said. We drove Roger out of the room. Freddie held on to his crutches. We walked to the car with happy faces.

Freddie and I run to get Roger in the car. "Are you okay, honey?" I asked.  Roger nodded, "I'm fine, darling!"

Roger was safely in the back seat. The wheelchair brought Mary back to the hospital. Finally after two weeks I was sitting next to my Roger again. Roger took my hand and rubbed it. "Kim?"  Roger asked. I dried a tear, "Yes?" I asked.

"Why are you crying?" Roger asked in a concerned voice. I coughed and looked up, "Because I'm just glad you're still with me." I cried. Roger gave me a kiss on the head.

We held hands tightly. Freddie stared at us, "You are so incredibly cute together!" Freddie whispered. We blushed and looked at each other.

Mary came over there, put her hands down and sat in the front. "Come on, let's get you home quickly, Rog." Mary said.

-----

Finally we were home, we had put Roger on the couch. "That was an adventure!" Freddie said when he put his hands on his hips. I nodded, "Indeed, gosh!" I said with a sigh.

Roger coughed, "I'm not happy, my car is still completely broken." Roger said. I sat down next to Roger. "You already got a new one, didn't you?" I asked.  Roger sighed, "Not until next month."  He told. "What the hell Rog, you can't drive anyway." Freddie said.

Roger leaned his head in his hands and rubbed back and forth. "Yes, you are right." Roger whispered.  Freddie took off his coat and sat in our beautiful chair.  Roger yawned and looked at his broken hand.  "That plaster makes me itch!" He said in a rattled voice.

Freddie took Roger's hand. "It can be taken off later, my darling!" Freddie said. A smile came on Roger's face. "If you say so."

The doorbell rang, I opened the door. It was Brian and Deaky. They came to visit Roger. "Roger, there you are!"  Brian said. Roger sat up. "Absolutely!"  Roger said with a big smile. Brian sat down next to Roger and shook hands with Roger. "How are you, mate?"  Brian asked. Roger looked at his injuries. "It could be better, but it is going well!" Roger said. Deaky gave Roger a bunch of flowers.

"Here, for you." Deaky said, in a very shy voice. Roger tugged on Deaky's arm and gave Deaky a big hug. "Come here my friend!" Roger said with a laugh.

Deaky sat down next to Roger. "Do you want something to drink?" I asked Deaky.  Deaky shrugged. "Please have a little water." He said. Roger looked at Brian and Freddie. "Since when water? You always drink beer!" Laughed Freddie. Deaky blushed, "Beer gives me a headache these days, so I'm skipping a beer today." Deaky said with a crooked mouth.

Roger stood up, "I have to go to the toilet, where are my crutches?"
Freddie took Roger's crutches from behind the chair. "There you go, buddy!" Freddie said. Roger carefully picked up the crutches. "Thank you!''

I poured the drink and sat down on the couch. I had a glass of beer in my hands, "Cheers!" I whispered to myself.  Brian tapped my shoulders, "Where's my cheers?" He asked. I laughed, "Here it is, cheers to our Roger!" I said. We raised our glasses of beer. Except Deaky with his water.

Roger came back on his crutches, "That's a relief!" He sighed. I stroked Roger his sore head. "Honey, you're hot as fire!" I said with a sip. Roger's pulleys were getting small. "I'm just tired of the drugs."  Roger yawned.

"You are going to rest on the bed."  I advised. Roger sighed, "Yes, great idea."  I got up to put Roger to bed. "Friends, I'm going to bed to rest." Roger said.  Freddie waved, "Good my dude, rest while you can, I'll be back soon!"- "Get well soon!"

Roger was sitting on the bed, "Do you want to wear pajamas?"  I asked.  Roger shook his head. "Not today, it hurt me well."  Roger said.  I nodded and helped Roger undress.  "Good honey, are you lying comfortably?" I asked.  Roger laughed, "Yes of course, I am so glad to be home!" Roger said. I tried not to cry inside. I gave Roger a kiss. "Sleep well, I'll be back later." I said to Roger. Roger kissed me back.

I closed the curtains and turned off the lamp. I looked at Roger who had closed his eyes. I looked at Roger and there was a smile on my face, I missed him so much.

I closed the door to our room where Roger was sleeping. I wiped a tear with my wrist. I sat down next to Brian. "Are you okay?" Freddie asked in surprise. I nodded, "Yes, everything is fine!" I sniffed.

-----

Two hours later, Freddie Brian and Deaky and I had the greatest fun. We celebrated that Roger was home, but in a gentle way. He slept soundly, we could hear his snoring in the living room.

Freddie Brian and Deaky had already gone home. Fortunately the weather was better, the wind was low and the sun started to go down.

I went to bed, cleaned up the dishes and turned off the lights. I stretched and yawned.

I carefully walked into the bedroom, took off my clothes. I didn't have to turn on a lamp, the moon light shone on Roger. He slept very soundly, it seemed so cute. I lay down next to Roger, I fell into a deep, wonderful sleep.
