Her name is Monet. She was living the dream life. At 20 she already owned her own business. She had two loyal bestfriends & even her own apartment. Although everything seemed alright, she still felt something was missing.
Leon held Kee's bags as they walked into Leon's home.
"Thanks for this man, Ian gone be here long I swear" He mumbled with his head down.
Leon felt bad for the boy, his mom kicked him out for an argument he had with his step dad.
Although Kee wasn't in the wrong his mom still sided with his step dad, and when Kee spoke up about it she kicked him out.
Leon shook his head "Stay for as long as you need, or at least till your mom say you can come back " Leon dropped his bags down in the guest room.
Kee scoffed "Nah Ian going back there, ima go stay with my dad " He spoke opening his suitcase.
Lee furrowed his eyebrows together "Your dad?" He questioned.
Kee nodded his head "Yeah, he said he gonna come get me tomorrow night." Kee smiled.
"Oh that's what's up" Lee scratched the back of his head.
Kee happily took clothes out his suitcase so he could go take a shower.
"Well Mo said she ordered a pizza, in case you get hungry" Lee told him as he stood in the archway.
Kee nodded "Alright, preciate it"
Leon walked out, going into the room with Mo.
"Hey sexy face" Mo said as she laid in her bed with her glasses on & messy bun.
She was currently on her laptop answering troubleshoot questions.
Leon sat at the end of the bed crossing his hands as he sat there thinking.
"What's wrong love?" She asked as she put the laptop too the side.
Leon shook his head "Kee said his dad gone come get him tomorrow night" He rubbed his head.
Mo mugged "Is that not a good thing?" She asked.
Lee sighed "No it's not, his dad a deadbeat he been telling Kee he'll come get him but he always leave him out there waiting" Lee shook his head — "That boy got some fucked up ass parents"
Mo threw her head back "I feel so bad for him" She mumbled — "I know how it feels too have no one" She added.
Lee turned his head looking Mo in the eyes
"Well you got me now" he leaned in for a kiss.
"MOOO" Zuri yelled from downstairs.
Mo & Lee hopped out of the bed running down the stairs.
"What is it" she said looking at Kee holding a pizza in his hand as he was wrapped in a towel.
"Who is this" she asked in a frantic.
"I already told you I'm Leon folks" he bit the slice of pizza.
Mo chuckled "This is Kee, he Lee little cousin he'll be staying here for a little bit" Mo reassured her.
"A heads up woulda been nice" She mugged.
