Chapter 27

Leon rushed into the hospital room, with Black & Von behind him.

"Monet Saint, what room is she in" Leon ran to the desk.

"Are you a family member?" The lady asked fixing her glasses on her face.

"Im her boyfriend "

She sighed looking through her book "Room 256"

He took off getting on the elevator.

"Nigga calm down" Von chuckled

"Man you shut the fuck up talking to me I don't even know why you here, lame ass nigga" Leon mugged him

"What, nigga chill out youn want smoke" He smirked

"Who don't?" Leon tried getting to Von but Black pushed him back.

"Y'all niggas just chill, this ain't the time" Black shook his head.

Leon turned back facing the elevator as it beeped letting him know they were on the floor.

He jogged down the hall seeing Kee & Zuri sitting outside the door talking.

He rushed into the room, not saying anything to the two.

"Mo I'm here baby, im here" He smiled leaning over the bed.

She ignored him holding her baby in her arms.

"Mo" he looked down at her.

She ignored him again keeping her eyes glued to her baby.

"Diem" he looked over at her

"What Leon" she spoke with an attitude

"Why she ignoring me"

"What you mean why she ignoring you, she just gave birth to a whole baby & you weren't even here, hell you better be glad she let you in this bitch" Diem scoffed

"Y'all don't understand " He placed a hand on his head.

"Nah nothing should have came in between you seeing the birth of your child" Tammy spoke up, her fiancé sat in the chair beside her.

He mugged her "Ma stay out of this"

"Can I at least see the baby, damn can I at least know the gender" he held his arms out.

"It's a girl" Mo mumbled

Leon's facial expression softened "Can I hold her?"

"Go wash your hands" Mo nodded towards the sink.

Leon washed his hands off smiling.

He held his arms out waiting for Mo to hand the baby over.

"Support her head Leon" Mo handed her over.

"Hey " He exclaimed — "Your pretty just like your mommy" He spoke in a baby voice.

"Did you decide on what name you wanted too give her?" Lee looked up at Mo

"It's between Xael (Zy- El) & Braelynn"

"We thought you guys would help us vote on a name since we couldn't figure it out" Leon said looking around the room.

Pam called Kee & Zuri in the room

"Okay everyone who votes for Xael hands up" Leon looked around.

Diem, Pam , Black & Kee raised their hand.

"And now everyone in favor of Braelynn" He looked around again.
