Downstairs:

"Karen we have to talk," Ted said before taking a bit out of his chicken

"Hm?" Karen was curious, they barely talk

"Well..." this was going to be bad

Upstairs:

El was having a sleepover at the wheelers and now Mike and El were playing castle with Holly. Mike and El were the queen and king and Holly was a princess. Calm down its just make-believe.

" Holly dear, come help your mother"

"Ok," Holly said skipping over

" What do you guys want for dinner? The chef is waiting"

" Oh, can we have-"

" TED! HOW COULD YOU CHEAT ON THE PERSON WHO MAKES YOUR CHICKEN"

"Chicken...." El finished

" Oh God no" Mike said

" KAREN THIS MARRIAGE WAS NOT GOING ANYWHERE AND YOU KNOW THAT"

" THAT GIVES YOU NO RIGHT TO CHEAT ON ME! YOU BROKE YOUR VOWS, YOUR PROMISE TED!"

" Mike..." Holly said on the verge of tears. El just stood there dumbfounded

" Its ok Holly, Its ok" Mike comforted her as she started to cry

" WE HAVE TO KEEP IT TOGETHER FOR THE KIDS TED!"

" YOU KNOW I NEVER CARED ABOUT THEM KAREN!"

" TED! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT?!"

" THEY DO NOTHING. NANCY IS A JOURNALIST, MICHEAL JUST BOUGHT THAT STRANGE GIRL INTO OUR LIVES, AND THEN THERE IS THE OTHER ONE"

" YOU MEAN HOLLY! WE NAMED HER AFTER YOUR MOTHER TED. AND JANE IS A SWEET GIRL. AND NANCY IS LIVING HER DREAMS. YOU NEVER CARED"

" WELL, NOBODY GAVE ME A REASON TOO"

" Mike...are mom and dad going to divorce"

He caught El's gaze and for the first time he knew he could not make his sister feel better this time

" I'm so sorry Holly, but I don't know" And Holly started sobbing and a few tears came down Mikes's cheeks

"It's ok, we'll be ok Holly."

" Mike..." El whispered

" Yes, El?"

" What's happening?" She was confused. What did Mrs.Wheeler mean by cheated

" I'll tell you soon," He said since Holly was falling asleep

" Ok" El started to clean up

Holly feel asleep in Mikes's arm so he took her to her room and tucked her in

" El?"

" Yes, Mike?"

" I-I um well my dad cheated on my mom, that's what happened"

" Cheated?" She questioned

" He went off with another woman" He replied with anger but sadness was in his eye

"Divorce"

"You know how I love you and you love me El"

"Of course" She replied kissing his check

" Well people get divorced because the fell out of love but I'm starting to think they never loved one another"

" So why get married"

" For money..." He dragged on, hanging his head. He was about to cry

" Mike? What's wrong?" Eleven looks worried

"I mean what's going to happen El. My mom will probably take us but my dad has always been the money maker"

" Everything will be ok," She said Holding Mike in her arms as she comforted him

" I mean how can people fall out of love?" Mike said this but El knew what he really means 'will we fall out of love'

"Mike?"

"Yes?"

"I will love you forever and ever. Even if it looks like endless darkness I will still love you. Even if the world pulls us apart I will love you for a million year and forevermore"

" Promise?"

" I will always promise you that."
