Ally groaned, reaching over to grab her ringing phone.

"Hello?" she answered groggily, not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Hi mija, I saw Normani proposed last night," her mother said through the phone.

"Yes she did," Ally said softly, now aware of her friends next to her in the living room. She played with the ring on her finger.

"Good, I'm glad. How are you two? Is everything okay by now?" Pat asked.

"Yes ma, everything is good," Ally sighed quietly, she wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep. Normani turned over on the couch they were sharing and wrapped her arms around Ally, pulling her in tighter. Ally smiled.

"That's good, have you talked about a date and location?" Pat inquired. Ally wanted to know why she was asking all of these questions at an ungodly hour.

"No we haven't. Mom can we talk about this later with Andrea and Mani, please?" Ally slightly whined.

"Sorry, sorry. But I'm happy for you and congratulations," Pat said.

Ally rolled her eyes, "thanks, we'll see you soon. Bye."

"Te amo," Pat added.

"Te amo," Ally hung up.

"Who was that?" Normani stirred a little, her eyes still closed.

"My mother, go back to sleep," Ally mumbled, turning into Normani and nuzzling into Normani's neck.

"Okay," Normani said, sighing. The two easily fell back asleep.

"What time is it?" Dinah asked, yawning.

"Um, twelve thirty," Ally said from the kitchen, making chicken quesadillas for lunch.

"We slept for so long," Dinah groaned, getting up from the other couch she and Lauren shared.

"We stayed up for a while though," Ally pointed out.

"True, Smash Bro's gets intense," Dinah smiled.

"How've you been?" Ally asked as Dinah walked into the kitchen, grabbing a glass from the cabinet.

"Good, really good. Honestly, I truly haven't been this good in a while," Dinah said, making a cup of orange juice.

"I'm glad to hear that, how are you and Lauren? You guys good?" Ally inquired.

"We're great, we have another date tomorrow, I'm going to take her out to dinner," Dinah explained.

"That sounds fun, I'm happy for you," Ally smiled, plating the first quesadilla.

"I'm happy for you too, all engaged and shit," Dinah and Ally laughed.

"Only because I have no choice. But, I am glad it's to Normani, I don't think I could be with anyone else," Ally explained, putting another quesadilla onto the pan.

"I told you you'd end up together," Dinah smirked.

"Whatever D," Ally chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"Good morning pretty girl," Lauren wrapped her arms around Dinah and kissed her cheek.

"Morning to you too," Dinah smiled.

"Morning Als, whatcha making?" Lauren sat next to Dinah and peered over the counter, trying to see what Ally was making.

"Quesadillas," Ally said.

"Oh me gusta mucho, graci," Lauren said, leaning into Dinah.

"No problem."

Ally was done with all four quesadillas when Normani finally woke up.
