"Hey Als," Normani appeared in the doorway, seeing Ally on the computer in the office.

"Yeah mama?" Ally twirled around in the office chair to face Normani. The girl let out a breath as she laid down in the papasan. Ally laughed and looked at her expectantly.

"What're we doing for Halloween? It's like, in four days and we don't even have costumes," Normani said, looking at Ally.

"Are we going to be cheesy and do a couple's outfit?" Ally tilted her head.

"Of course, what kind of question is that?" Normani's face contorted, making Ally chuckle.

"Alright, well what do you want to be?" Ally asked, turning back around to the desktop to search up Halloween costumes.

"Well we could be ketchup and mustard? An angel and a devil? Harley Quinn and the Joker? I don't know, there are lots of costumes," Normani said, playing with one of the dreads from the rasta banana plush they kept on the papasan.

"Come here," Ally beckoned softly. Normani got out of the papasan and sat in Ally's lap, looking at the screen as Ally scrolled through numerous Halloween couples costumes and ideas.

"What if I was the plug and you were the outlet?" Normani snickered, pointing at the picture.

"Oh gosh," Ally laughed and shook her head, continuing her scroll.

"I like this one," Normani smirked, pointing at a picture; the guy was wearing a modest priest outfit in contrast to his counterpart, the girl's outfit not so modest.

"My parents would put me six feet under," Ally scowled.

Normani laughed, "it was only a joke, honey girl." Normani leaned back into Ally, resting her head on Ally's shoulder.

"Why don't we just do angel and devil? Seems the easiest," Ally suggested.

"You're the devil," Normani said, sitting up to look at Ally.

"What why? If anything I should go as the angel?" Ally protested, her eyebrows slightly furrowed.

"Well, two things: one, your good girl facade vanished a long time ago and two, I want to see you in a sexy red costume," Normani smirked slightly.

Ally chuckled, "you know what, fine, I will be the devil. This will be fun." Normani smiled and started to jump around the office.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" she exclaimed, dancing around. Ally chuckled and shook her head, turning the desktop off.

"What do you want to do at night? I can see if my parents are doing anything, but I don't think I want to spend Halloween with them," Ally scrunched her nose.

"Can we stay here and hand out candy?" Normani looked at Ally with wide, innocent eyes.

"If that's what you want, then sure," Ally smiled adoringly at the brown skinned girl, who's eyes lit up once more as she squealed.

"Yay, love you," Normani said, kissing all over Ally's face. Ally laughed and tried to push the girl away.

"Let's go eat, I'm hungry," Ally said, looking at the time. Normani nodded and picked Ally up, carrying her downstairs and into the kitchen.

"What're we in the mood for?" Normani asked, putting the girl down and opening the pantry.

"Why don't we just make ramen and call it a night? I'm too lazy to cook anything right now," Aly said, grabbing a pot and filling it with water. Normani grabbed two packets of ramen, closing the pantry door.

The girls ate their ramen on the floor of the living room, using the coffee table as they watched whatever was on television.

"Mani my love, what's up with you?" Ally asked innocently.
