Sofia knew it was important to be safe, and safety is a very important thing at the Corinthian Sports School. Without safety rules, not only would someone get hurt, but there would be mad chaos.

Sofia remembered in her early days as a princess, her older stepbrother, James, disobeyed the castle rule of no playing ball inside the castle. As a result, he wound up breaking the new stain-glass window. He talked his sisters into helping him hide his mistake. Sofia tried to help James hide that he broke the window while Amber tried to stall their parents. When Miranda and Roland found out the truth, James knew he didn't want to make a mistake like breaking rules like that ever again.

Of course, that lesson didn't seem to sink into the twins. Amber, James, and Vivian decided to bring their pets to school, so they could let them play in the playground. Sofia didn't want to do it because she knew it was against the rules, but Amber, James, and Vivian pressured her into bringing Clover to school with her anyway. This turned out to be a big mistake: during sorcery class, the pets got loose, and they got mixed up thanks to a potion. Then they ran loose on campus. Once the pets were caught, Sofia wanted to tell the fairies what happened, but Vivian and the twins didn't want to get in trouble, so they tried to make a reversal potion. This turned out to be a mistake because they made an enlarging potion. When the fairies saw what happened, the kids admitted that they broke the school rules. After that, Sofia didn't want to make a mistake like that again, and she hoped her siblings wouldn't pressure her to do that.

It was a simple night in Enchancia, and Amber and Sofia were having another slumber party. This time, they invited their old classmates from Royal Prep, Princesses Hildegard and Clio. Right now, they were in the observatory, staring at the stars through the telescopes.

"The stars are so beautiful," Clio gaped.

"Yes, they are, Clio," Hildegard agreed.

"I can't wait until tomorrow night for the Ruby Amethyst meteor shower," Amber beamed.

"What's that?" Hildegard asked.

"It's a big meteor shower of pink, red, and purple meteors, and it only happens every 50 to 70 years," Amber replied. "You can all watch with me if you want."

"I'm watching the meteor shower at Hugo's palace tomorrow, Amber," Sofia declared. "Besides, his observatory has a brand-new telescope that's three times more than powerful enough."

"Really?" Clio asked.

"Yes, and this meteor shower is so big that his parents had to get a new telescope," Sofia said. "It's something I'd say is out of this world!"

Amber, Hildegard, and Clio weren't too amused by that bad pun.

"Very nice, Sofia," Amber groaned.

Suddenly, Baileywick showed up and said, "Time for bed, princesses."

"Okay, Baileywick," Sofia said.

The four princesses went to the beds set up in the observatory, and soon enough, they fell asleep.

The next morning, Sofia was almost ready to go to her boyfriend's palace when there was a knock on her bedroom door. "Enter," she called.

The door opened, and in entered Princesses Elena and Isabel from the kingdom of Avalor.

"Elena! Isabel!" Sofia beamed.

"Hi, Sofia," Isabel smiled.

Suddenly, a little colorful animal came up from behind Elena. "Is she the princess you said saved Avalor from Shuriki?" she asked.

"The very same," Elena confirmed.

"Is this your pet?" Sofia asked as Flo climbed up onto her shoulders.

"You can say that—this is Flo, an alpacamundi," Isabel said. "They're creatures in Vallestrella."

"Nice to meet you, princess," Flo smiled.

"Nice to meet you," Sofia smiled. Then she noticed Elena's sparkly new dress with her silver belt, bracelet, hairclip, and earrings. "Wow, Elena, you're more sparkly than I remember."

"Thanks, Sofia," Elena smiled. "I fell in a magic well of crystals, and it boosted the magic from the Amulet inside me. Now whenever I feel a strong emotion, my dress changes color, and big magic is going to happen."

"I was originally a model for a parade float, but her happiness brought me to life," Flo said.

"Wow, well, I hope you're feeling excited right now," Sofia smiled. "I don't know if you're aware, but the Ruby Amethyst meteor shower is happening tonight."

"Oh, I dreamed of seeing that meteor shower before Shuriki took over the kingdom," Isabel beamed.

"It looks like your dream is going to come true," Sofia said. "Hugo invited me to watch it with him, and his observatory has a powerful new telescope. He said I could invite anyone to join us—do you want to come, too?"

"We'd love to," Elena smiled.

"Oh, sounds fun," Flo grinned.

"Let's go," Sofia said.

Flo, Sofia, Elena, and Isabel went to the coach. Once Flo and the princesses were in the coach, they flew off to Hugo's kingdom.
