White noise of engines and boosters filled the air. The tiled while floor was cold and smelt as though it had been freshly bleached. A few of the lights were flickering and sparking on the roof. There was a large luminescent red button that had been locked with a glass container, it was sat on the center and largest table and read "emergency" in large red letters.

There were ten people lying unconscious and scattered around the tables and floor of the cafeteria, each with a different coloured space suit. The bodys sat at the table concluded of red, blue and purple, along with white and orange slumped on the floor beside the center table. Cyan and black laid against the right wall, cyan on the upper part of the room and black on the bottom. Green, yellow and pink were on the left wall, green sat against the lower part along with yellow, though they were still far enough away to not be able to touch each other with an arm's length. Pink was the only one on the upper left wall, they were positioned in a way that made it seem as though they slowly slipped from sitting to lying curled on the floor.

The suits were not tight and almost covered a person's whole body excluding the head, though it did have helmets that were attached, none of them were being worn and hung on the back of each person. Along with the helmet there was also an oxygen tank that matched the colour of each person's suit, it was buckled around the waist with straps on the shoulders as though it was a backpack.

The speakers that hid in each corner of the room began to crackle and click with life and caused a few of the still bodys to stir and stretch back to consciousness. The speakers then proceeded to make a morning alarm type noise, finishing the job of waking up the few that stirred and nudging the others that stayed in their slumber, encouraging them to wake.

The first to open their eyes and look quizzically around the room were blue, green, purple and black, watching as others began to do the same. Before anyone had the chance to register they're new surroundings, a robotic glitchy voice filled the room. "Hello crewmates' ' the voice began "welcome aboard Skeld, you are now part of an experiment run by our scientists at Mira-HQ to see how a select few will react to being given tasks under stress. Skeld is a spaceship designed to have minor faults, such as, false wiring, an incorrect destination, in-range only microphones, and many more. You all have an individual list of your tasks on this ship and of course your main goal is to finnish your tasks and get home. We have also placed an emergency button in the cafetera if you feel the need to alert the others on the ship for any reason. Mira-HQ wishes you the best of luck. Programmed message end" the voice then cuts off with a click.

The now-fully awake crew started looking at each other with wide eyes in confusion and fear, not knowing what to say or do. They all stayed like that for a moment before someone finally spoke up.

"Oh no" the shaky and tired voice said simply, having all the eyes dart toward them in an instant. The figure that had spoken was at the lower left section of the room in a yellow suit, they were short yet had a slim physique. Yellow took a shocked breath seeing all the people staring at them before continuing.

"S-sorry, I just kinda r-realised that th-this isn't a bad dream" they spoke a bit of a stutter, whether it was caused from panic or if it was natural was unknown. They also seemed to stiffen slightly while they brought their knees to their chest. The others noticed a small robot wheel itself beside the small lump of a person. The robot was small with a box-like body and a dark beige colouring.

Cyan had brought his attention to a bracelet that was attached to his suit's left arm. The bracelet was a dark grey with two buttons, one red and one a goldish brown. Hesitantly he pressed down the red button first which led to a small voice coming from somewhere on the suit he was currently in. "pulse normal, no need for alarm"
