In this adventure Dan learns that years ago in Hollywood there use to be a town called Toon Town, but no one knows what happened to it.
And so Dan and Verago gets sent to the past to change the future and to see what happened to the town.
It has been a while since Dan and Verago went on an adventure and so they went to the library and Dan got a book that involves mysteries and he reads it with Verago on his shoulder as a ferret.

"Well, this is interesting" Dan says.
"What?" Verago asks.
"This mystery, it says a town called toon town just disappeared in 1947 and it says that the cartoons living there disappeared too and it was turned into a freeway by a man named Judge Doom after a murder happened and a man named detective Eddie Valiant was on the case, but they never saw him again once Toon Town disappeared" Dan says.
"Does it say who did the murder and the man?" Verago asks.
"No, but something doesn't feel right" Dan then begins to pace back and forth "I wish I could find out what happened and maybe stop it from a town from disappearing" just then his bracelet glows "I think we have an adventure"
"Finally" Verago says.
Dan then opens a portal and they go through it.

As they were going through it Dan saw his clothes change and then they came to the end of the portal.
They were at the end of a street and they walked and then Dan saw a newspaper.
"It looks like it brought us to the year 1947" Dan says "and were in Hollywood"
"What's Hollywood?" Verago asks.
"It's a place-" he stops as he stares at Verago.
"What?" Verago says looking around and then back at him "why are you staring at me like that?"
"Your a ferret cartoon" Dan says being surprised "and wearing pants" Dan looks at him "and your fur has changed color too"
"I need a mirror" Verago says.
They the walk around until they found one and Verago looked at himself.

"You look way different then before" Dan says.
"But why?" Verago asks.
"I don't know, but maybe there's a reason" Dan says "come on" he picks up Verago and puts him on his shoulder "this is weird"
"What?" Verago asks.
"Even though you are as tall as a stove you still feel as light as you were a little ferret before we went through the portal" Dan then saw the book "you brought the book from the library?" Dan asks.
"Yeah I guess so, I must have had it when we went through the portal" Verago says.
Dan takes the book "this book is all about the 40s and this shouldn't be here" he looks around "we need to find something to put this in"
They then walk around until they found a toon shop and they got a toon bag that could hold anything no matter how big or small.

When they bought it they left the store and then they put the book in the bag and it didn't feel heavy at all.
And Dan gave the bag to Verago and then he used his magic to make the bag seem empty except to him and Verago.
They then walked on.
As they walked they saw a lot of different toons all over the streets.
"So what do we need to do first?" Verago asks still on Dan's shoulder.
"We need to find that guy Eddie Valiant" Dan says.
They walk for a while until they came to a phone booth and they look through the phone book until they found the name.
"There he is" Dan says "ok we've got his address"
They then write it down and they continued on their way.
When they got there they asked around where was Eddie Valiant and some didn't know, but luckily someone did and they said he was at Maroon's cartoons a few miles from here.
"How do we get there?" Verago asks.
The person then tells them how and they thank the person and then they were off. ============================================================
