The intercom beeped and a flight attendant that sounded like she was in her mid 30's spoke up, "Good morning passengers, it is currently 6:55 A.M and we are 10 minutes away from landing in Beverly Hills, please fasten your seat belts." In a cheery voice.

I do as told, then I open my window to see a beautiful sunrise before me. It was breath taking. I thought about the new life I'm about to live, new school, new friends, a better future. After Axel, I will never ever trust a guy with my life. I feel terrible about putting him behind the bars. I wonder what he's doing right now, how everything is back home. Even though I don't love him anymore, I still had feelings for him before and although we never had a great relationship, he still cared about me more than ever. But I can't think of that now, I don't think I'll ever be able to get attached to someone again.

I feel my stomach drop a little as the plane begins to land. First, it feels like I'm falling. Then, a huge drop and bump. As soon as it's safe to get up, I gather my carry on and begin for the exit. I walk out to pick up my luggage at the carrousel.

I reached for my phone and quickly dialed for my mom. From the sounds of it she's really stressed out because as soon as she picks up she's yelling at her assistant for filing papers incorrectly.

"Hello, honey did you land?" She breathes out.
"Hey mom, yeah I called to let you know that the flight went well." I take a seat on a bench just outside the airport to wait for an available taxi. My mom is still back at home to continue her company now that she's the CEO of the most famous fashion designs. From Gucci to Louie's, all that expensive stuff.

"I've already set the paperworks for your apartment and your room for you. I also enrolled you at Beverly High, I hired a personal driver to take you to and from school if you ever needed him, I mailed all the information you need and they should be back at your apartment." My mom is the biggest supporter I have.

"Thanks so much mom, I love you."

"Anything for you sweetie, i love you too." We said our goodbyes and hung up.

Everything is going to fall into place now, how my future was always supposed to be like. I have experienced all the pain love can give, emotionally and physically. I promise, that in my new life, I will never let a guy interfere with my future, I'll never let a guy hurt me nor will I ever fall for a guy, again. In this life, I put myself first.

I take a step into a local diner just down the road from my apartment. There was an aroma that smelled like a combination of burgers and milkshakes, I take a seat on a barstool and order myself a strawberry milkshake. As I wait for my order a guy with dirty blonde hair sits besides me,

"What's a pretty lady doing here all alone?" He starts. Oh great, this is the last thing I could ask for right now.

"Oh, I don't know? Eating." I say in monotone, obviously pointing out that I'm not interested.

"How about I take you out for a ride on my motorcycle?" He winks. Pointing down to his crotch. I puked a little in my mouth, God that's disgusting! How rude of him!

"Actually, no. I'm really not in the mood to ride on some little motorcycle. Better luck next time buddy" I rolled my eyes. Causing him to catch on and leave the diner. A few seconds later a guy with a 6'3 frame towered over me and took the seat where rude boy sat.

"Wow, what a way to kill the poor guys self esteem" he chuckles. His green eyes sparkled. He orders the same burger and milkshake as me.

"Well, he deserved it." I shrugged. By now my milkshake came in and I took a sip out of it. Mmm, it tasted so amazingly sweet.

"I've never seen a girl so irritated," his milkshake came in and he took a big sip of the sweet goodness.

"Boys are plain stupid and don't know what they want, honestly." I just set it straight. I don't want a guy in my life. I can't even sit properly without thinking of Axel and what he's doing in prison right now.

He puts his hands up in surrender, gets off the barstool and is just about to leave,
"Where you going?" I questioned. I feel terrible, I totally shut him out when all he was trying to do was make conversation. God dammit Ana, just because he's a guy doesn't mean you could kill his vibe.

"I'm sure a girl like you doesn't want to be bothered right now." He explains.

"I never said that you were bothering me," I defended. Offering him a seat back next to me.

"Well in that case, my names Michael." He reaches out for a handshake.

"Anabelle, But you can just call me Ana." We shook hands and chatted for a while.

"You wanna play a game? The fastest to finish their milkshake wins and the loser pays for their shake. Deal?" He gives me a questioning look, I love challenges.

"Challenge accepted." He motions the hand signals and on three we slurp our lives away.

I tapped my glass on the table, which made me the winner of the challenge. I looked over and he was halfway finished with his shake. I chuckled.

"I win!" I cheered with a cheeky smile.

"I swear I was ahead of you like 10 seconds ago!" He laughs. I laughed too. We exchanged looks and cracked a smile. Oh god, I didn't feel too well. I think I might...

I covered my mouth and ran outside and threw my head in the trash can.

"Damn Ana, you feeling okay?" He moves my hair away from my face and rubs my back to help me feel better. Aw, how sweet of him.

"You're bringing me home." I stated. That milkshake was just way too sweet for me.

"C'mon" He helps me up and walks me to his car.

I promise I'm going to take Ana and Michaels' relationship slow so that it's not too cliché :)
