Free Fall // Jennie Kim

Chapter 4

It's the second day of school and I'm getting tired. Yesterday, a lot things happened. Have some new friends. The incident in the cafeteria. The story about the past of Eunjin and Jennie. And my encounter with Jennie in the bookstore. Seriously, I'm starting to think that I'm in kind some movie or something.

I'm running right now on the hallways cause I'm getting late. When I was about to turn left, I heard some unfamiliar voice that made me stop.

"Why can't you just give me another chance?" a familar voice said as I hide myself on the wall.

"Do you think it's that easy to give you a second chance, after all of what you did to me, Jennie?" now I know who's voice that is. Eunjin.

I really don't want to hear what are they saying cause I know I'm just going to be hurt but my feet says otherwise. I can't move. I really want to walk away but my feet don't want to. And yes, after thinking about her last night, I realized that I like her. I like Jennie and I want her. I don't know why I don't feel scared liking her. It's like my guts were telling me that she's the one for me. And I'm hoping the she really is the one.

"Jennie, how would you feel when the girl you love was just playing at you?"

"Eunjin, I'm not playing at you,that time. My feelings are real. I really love you."

That hurts. Hearing her say I love you felt nice but it really hurts when she didn't say that to you.

"I'm not going to believe you this time, Jennie. I had enough of your lies. I don't trust you anymore so please, just move on"

I heard some footsteps coming to my side made me snapped. But I was about to run when Eunjin was now infront of me and Jennie was behind her. Damn, I got caught. What to do?

I saw how Eunjin's frown deepened and Jennie was glaring at me.

"You again, nerd. Are you stalking me?" Jennie irritatedly asked.

"Uhm, I-I am n-not"

Eunjin grabs my wrist and drags me to the my class. I heard Jennie was screaming to us to wait for her but Eunjin isn't stopping.

When we reach our classroom, Ms. Choi is there infront of us, absolutely fuming in anger.

"YOU TWO ARE LATE!" she shouted, pointing at us. I flinched, scared of being eaten by her.

"We're sorry, Ms. Choi. I saw Soojin getting lost around the school so I kindly help her." Eunjin lied. Ms. Choi looked at me with her scary gaze. I gulped.

"Is this true?"

"Uhm yes Ms. Choi."

"Okay then, go to your seat the two of you"

We got to our seat. Ms. Choi was about to start to say something but got interrupted by someone entering the classroom. Jennie is obviously upset. She's not upset about you two not waiting for her. She's upset because Eunjin dragged you, she even hold your hand.

Ms. Choi just stayed quiet because she got nothing to do with it, knowing Jennie, she probably just gonna ignore her as always.

"Before I forgot, there's a talent show coming up and every room must have some representatives. Who wants to volunteer?" no one answered. Ms. Choi sighed as she put up her glasses up to her head.

"The one who will participate will get plus 3 on their final grades." when she said that some students starts to raise their hands. I saw Seulgi, put her hands up. The girl beside me, too raise her hands making the others shock.
