Chapter 7

I look at Irene that sat infront of me. She's staring at me, too. she's still pretty as always.

I was waiting for the butterflies in my stomach, but nothing came. My heart beats fast but it's not the same anymore. The spark that we had are gone. It's like we're back at being strangers again.

Her eyes, it was screaming in agony. I can tell she hasn't still move on from me even though I thought back then she already move on cause she found someone who is better than me. So why? Why is she looking at me like that?

The way she look at me is still the same but I already move on. I couldn't look at her like how I see her back then. I felt nothing to her, now.

I was caught up in my thought when someone coughs loudly. I look away from her and turn my gaze to my food.

"So, Irene. How are you, looking pretty as always?" Moonbyul flirted while grinning. I notice Solar was sending daggers to Moonbyul. I shake my head. She's obviously jealous and Moonbyul is so dense to feel it.

"I'm fine. You're still flirty as always." Moonbyul just laughed.

I felt Irene's gaze to me.

"How about you, Soojin?" I looked up, frowning.

"Eh! You two knew each other?" Seulgi asked, her face was shocked.
"Of course, she's my-"

"Schoolmate" I said quickly before she spill our 'relationship'.

I should've known it. Why I forgot about Joohyun's other name? So, that's why it felt familiar hearing that name, when Seulgi mentioned her before.

I don't know what will happen if Seulgi will know that her crush is my ex girlfriend. And I can tell by her looks that she still wants me.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah" I boringly said.

I don't want to be here anymore. Please get me out of here. The tension between us two is thick.

"You change a lot, Jinjin-ah" I cringed at what she just called me. She used to call me that nickname. I used to like hearing that from her mouth but now I feel irritated.

"Jinjin-ah? What a cute nickname you got there, Soojin" Wendy said.

"Don't call me that again"

"And why is that?" Irene asked raising her left brow.

Cause it brought back memories of me and you. Those hurtful memories that I just wanna forget.

"I'm not the 'Jinjin'you knew anymore" I heard her hum.

"I can see that."

I didn't want to argue to her anymore so I just kept mum. All of them are catching up with each other, asking how she is? What did she do after she left the town?

I know Irene is stealing some glances to me cause I can feel it. And I know Eunjin already noticed that there's something between me and Irene. I heard my phone beep, indicating that I got a text. I get my phone to my pocket. It's Eunjin. I look at her but she's busy talking to Moonbyul.
