"Stand back." Said Ten-ten. She jumps in the air, throws knives in all the possible locations the kidnapper could have been from their side." Tamaki looks at the marking. "Guess the spirits didn't let us down this time." She said. Y/n shrugs. "I guess."

Tokuma inspected the area and noticed a few things. "Look, a bag of chips." Tamaki picks it up with gloves hands. "Eh? Why is it still lingering around?" The bag was located in a nearby river. "It could be anyone's bag of chips." Said Tamaki. "Nope! These chips are produced only by the Akamichi Clan! It hasn't been released yet, and only three kids are it. The very three that disappeared."

"Come on why do always have to drag this out?! Let's catch the bastard! Check the surveillance cameras if there is any around here! Get a-" "shh!" Tamaki silenced y/n. "Do you hear that?" They strain their ears. "Listen."

Beep...beep...

​​​​​​​​​​​​"Check..check your earrings! Your phones! Your rings everything!" Said Tamaki, looking through her bag. "We've been bugged!" Ten-ten had a worried look on her face. "How? Is that even possible?" Y/n sighs. "There is nothing!" Tamaki furrows her brows. "Spread your arms and legs!" She began to touch and pat them each down. When she came to y/n, she looked behind her ear.

She feels her ear and retracts her hand immediately. "Holy shit. Y/n, you got a microphone in your ear." Y/n furrows her brows in confusion. "How is this possible?" She places a hand on her ear and feels around. "I...it's prickly." "I'm calling Sasuke." Said Ten-ten.

Sasuke answers his phone. "Got anything?" He asked. "Yeah. Y/n's been bugged. Permission to remove the chip now sir." Sasuke rubs his face in frustration. "No! No come back to base! Hold on, incoming call." Sasuke has Shisui join the call, grunting. "I've been bugged sir." In the background, Kō the started to groan. Sai uses a metal detector and scans his teammate.

"Sasuke, Kō's been bugged as well." Sasuke's eyes grew wide. "What the hell? How is this even possible?! Everyone, report back to base immediately!" They wasted no time. As y/n was about to enter the car, she spotted a motorcycle drive off. "Someone...was just there..." She said feeling her head swing.

"Relax. You're hallucinating." Said Tamaki. "No. I swear there was a biker..." Tamaki and Tokuma share a look. "Right." Said the brunette. He takes a deep breath in making some hand sings. "Byakugan!" His lavender eyes surrounded by veins.

Tokuma looked about, and he immediately spotted a person on a motorcycle driving ahead. "She wasn't lying." "What's the license plate?" Tamaki asked, about to write it down. "S-671." Tamaki smirks. "We got the fucker now."

"Y/n.." Sasuke's smooth voice woke her up. "Hmm?" "Good. You're alright." Y/n felt her cheeks burn noting how close he was. Sasuke didn't seem to mind. He just chuckled patting her head. "You're cute when flustered." "Stop." Y/n mutters. "I'm serious." Sasuke continued. "It's cute."

Y/n glances at him. Right in time to catch Sasuke staring into her eyes. His heart soared again. 'Calm down Sasuke.' He told himself. "You were bugged." "Yeah. I remember that one." Sasuke sighs. "We will catch the culprit." Y/n nods, holding her chest. "I wonder if Gekyume is at least sleeping well." Sasuke hugs her. She hugs back. "Don't worry. We will get him back."

"Alright." Sasuke leans down, pecking her forehead. Y/n's cheeks flushed red. "Hey. What was that the other day. About Asura calling you some..Lady Sanuko." Y/n smiles, "oh I dunno. He's crazy. Probably mistook me for someone else." Sasuke laughs nervously. "Yeah, but that cloud did nothing to you. Not much damage I mean." "Oh? I don't remember."

Of course she knows this. "Aha? Really? Too bad. It was pretty hot~" y/n smirks poking his forehead with her fingers. "Whatever." Sasuke smiles at this, holding her hand. "You're so cute." Y/n grins like a kid. "You too Sasuke." Sasuke blushes a little. "Eh, you're cuter. I swear, if I hadn't met Sakura a little later, I'd have you instead of Naruto."

Y/n's eyes grew wide as she stared at him. "Sorry?" Sasuke forced a smile, looking deep into her eyes as tears trickled to the side of his eyes. "I'm serious. I would have had you instead. Naruto beat me to it, the day he spoke to you. I was gonna do it, but he beat me. As he kept beating me at it. More and more. And soon, I backed off. He made his mark. I figured I'd just stay in the background. Always reminding Naruto not to screw up. Eventually I fell for Sakura, but that day I saw you in your wedding dress. All happy and holding him. I wished it was me instead. That's when I realised, y/n. I still have feelings for you."

Her e/c orbs grew more. "Sasuke, I... don't know what to say." Sasuke wipes his tears, but more kept falling. "I wish it were me instead, because you deserve so much better." Y/n pulls her hand away. "Listen to yourself! You have a wife! A daughter! A big mansion! The best job there is! If you were married to me, you would have been brought with poverty. You wouldn't have had your child. I wouldn't have found out that Naruto was an asshole."

Sasuke holds her face. "Huh? What are you implying?" Y/n leans closer. "I saw you, always by his side, and always smiling. Then frowning. Always there. I wanted you to look at me. To talk to me. But I figured you didn't like me either. So I switched to Naruto, and I fell hard for the boy. People like us, are not meant for each other." Sasuke holds her hand tighter.

"Y/n." She pulls her hand away again. "No Sasuke. I wished it were you instead too, but we were clearly not meant to be." Sasuke didn't want to take no for an answer. He leaned in close to the female, kissing her deeply. At first, y/n tried to resist. But then, she kissed him back. Sasuke deepens the kiss forcing his tongue within her mouth, and squeezing her thigh.

Y/n lets out a long moan, gripping the Uchiha's shirt. There was a brief knock on the door, and the two separated quickly, Sasuke fixing his shirt as y/n smoothes her skirt. Ten-ten walked in, a smile on her face. "We've got trackers on that motorcycle as we speak! Soon we'll get that guy." Sasuke nods, "good." His voice went high.

"Ehm! I mean, good!" Y/n stiffens a laugh. Ten-ten then looks at y/n and Sasuke. Then she looks from Sasuke to y/n. "Did I interrupt something?" Sasuke shakes his head a no and stands, "no Ten-ten. We were just discussing the case on Gekyume." "R-right." Y/n stutters. "Okay!" Ten-ten leaves, and Sasuke turns around smiling at y/n. "We're throwing a party for Itachi. At our residence in Amegakure. You're invited. Bring Naruto." Y/n nods. "Don't worry, I'll send you an e-invite."

Y/n smiles softly. The first real smile in a long while. "Okay. Sasuke." He closes the door behind him, a giant smile on his face. "Yes!" He fist bumped the air. Sasuke stops midway and then realises what he just did. He cheated on Sakura. But then Sasuke shrugged it off knowing that Sakura went out every Saturday night to go cheat on him. With someone from the village of course. And y/n was so unhappy with Naruto and the disappearance of her boy, he thought he had a shot at last to make her happy.
