Nate was on the way to school with Whisper by his side.

Whisper: School will be exciting! I've always wanted to see one!

Nate: It's really boring. I don't know why you're so pumped about going.

Whisper: Remind me why we're going to Katie's house first.

Nate: We're going to walk to school with her. Yesterday made me really concerned for her safety, and I want to make sure she gets to school okay.

Whisper: You know Nate, yokai don't just hurt people. We help them too. Remember when Jibanyan saved Katie yesterday?

Nate: That was awesome. I think that guy's gonna be one of my go to yokai.

Whisper: Good choice. He is quite a good fighter after all.

Katie: Hey, Nate!

Katie was waiting at the gate for him. They waved to eachother.

Nate: Hi, Katie. Ready to go to school?

Katie: Yeah.

They then began to walk.

Nate: I hope I did well on my homework. Science isn't my best subject.

Katie: Why don't we help eachother with the next homework?

Nate: Really? I'd like that.

Katie: Should we do this after school, too?

Nate: No way.

Katie: What?

Nate: I can't.

Katie: Oh...

Katie looked at her feet sadly. She was hoping to spend more time with Nate. When they arrived at the school gates, Whisper told Nate he wanted a word with him. Nate let Katie go ahead.

Nate: What do you want?

Whisper: I want to know why you refused Katie's offer.

Nate: What offer?

Whisper: Her offer to go home with you!

Nate: Wait, what? I...rejected her? There's no way I would do that.

Whisper: Wait...could it be the work of a yokai?

Nate: Wait, you think so?

Whisper: Take a look.

Nate activated the yokai watch and began to look around with it. He saw a large wall yokai in front of him.

Nate: Whoa! That guy's bigger than other yokai!

Whisper: If you think he's big, wait until you meet Gargaros.

Nate turned to his butler, confused by the statement.

Nate: Who?

Whisper: That's not important! For now we have to stop that guy!

Nate: You have no idea who he is, do you?

Whisper turned away, and Nate knew he was on his yokai pad.

Nate: What a liar.

Katie was walking through the school grounds, looking quite sad. Then Bear and Eddie ran up to her.

Bear: Katie!

Katie: Oh, hi guys.

Eddie: We were wondering if you wanted to walk home with us!

The two of them were blushing. Katie looked at her feet and sighed.
