I have been obsessing over harry potter ever since I was little but recently with TikTok and all that I have been inspired. Please enjoy. And let me know if know what you think.

Y/N found herself at a crossroads the morning she was expected to go to Hogwarts. She stood in the middle of her room eyes all watching her expectantly waiting for her to choose. On the verge of tears, the girl screamed in frustration. At this, her father came rushing in almost toppling over her rug in the process.
"What's wrong my darling?" He asked looking her over to see if something had happened to her.

"It's awful, Papa, absolutely dreadful!" She proclaimed throwing herself back on her bed. He looked at her inquisitively. "How do they expect me to only bring one of my babies. They are all my friends! I can't just leave them behind!"

Mr. Sunshine laughed light-heartedly at his daughter whose exasperations scared him quite a bit but never ceased to surprise him. "Silly girl." He ruffled her hair and with a soft chuckle. "Think of who you would miss most and take them. And hurry it up, you are going to miss the train at this rate."

Mr. Sunshine left to ready the car Y/N looked around the room at her many friends. "I will miss you all the most." She pouted.

She then had a brilliant idea and grabbed her enchanted suitcase and began with her ferret, Louie, then her cat, Arna, and her puffskein, Winnie, before her father yelled for her it was time to go.

"I feel like Newt Scamander." She giggled beckoning her owl Meona to her shoulder as she closed the chest before rushing out the door and down the stairs to where her father and Aunt Fela were waiting in the foyer.

"My dear, I can't believe you are finally going to Hogwarts time has gone by so fast." Fela began to cry. "If only your mother were here to see what a beautiful young woman you are becoming. She would be so proud."

"Fela please don't upset her. It's her first time away from home." Y/N wasn't upset though, she was in fact very happy to hear that, but she knew that it upset her father very much to bring up her mother. She only smiled at her aunt before giving her a hug.

"Oh I wish I could see you off but I must be going," Fela said sadly before looking down at her watch and gasping. "We are both going to be late if we don't get a move on."

Fela blew her niece a kiss before she apparated out. Y/N giggled before her father picked up her trunk Meona's cage and took it to the car. Their house-elf Lenor took the rest of Y/n's thing and put them in the back.

"Bye Lennie I'll miss you!" She hugged the elf who smiled back and waved as y/n got into the car and was driven to Kings Cross.

The station was packed and people were buzzing and shouting but y/n was smiling sitting atop her trunks and suitcase as her father pushed her. He was rambling about how she needed to stay safe and not to wonder and to make lots of friends but y/n was too enamored by thoughts of the castle she would soon call home.

"Alright, here we are 9 and three quarters!" Mr. Sunshine exclaimed as the train pulled into the station. A porter came to grab her things and she jumped off grabbing her suitcase with her animals.

"Goodbye, papa. I'm going to miss you." The girl could not help but let a few tears fall. Her father quickly wiped them away shh'ing the whimpering girl.

"It's alright my little bird. You will make a lot of friends at school and forget all about me."

"I could never forget you, papa." She smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

On the train, y/n rushed to find an empty ... when she did she closed the curtain and opened her case and hopping in. It was only a small playroom with drawers that stored her pets' things and food. When she reached the floor her animals flocked to her and she cuddled them and sat with them until she heard some noice from outside the case. She climbed up the latter before opening the case to find three upperclassmen boys startled by her entrance.

"Hello! I'm Y/n Sunshine," The girl said only out of the case from her waist up. The boys were now looking at her in a mix of confusion and amusement but a boy with messy brown hair and bright grey eyes smiled at her and stuck out his hand as well.

"I'm Cedric Diggory. These are my friends Ben and Manning." They shook hands and he helped y/n the rest of the way out of the case. Y/n smiled and turned to close it and sat down.

"I do believe first years belong in the back of the train," Manning said looking her up and down.

"Oh sorry. I didn't know." With a bright smile, she picked up her case and her owl cage and made her way out of the cart. She wandered around till she found another cart with a group of kids that looked closer to her age.

She introduced herself and made fast friends with a boy named Neville Longbottom. He was very kind and they talked and laughed for the whole train ride to the castle. They even bought chocolate frogs and swapped trading cards.

At one point he even lost his pet toad to Y/N's amusement.

Y/n was in awe of the school when they got off the train. It was even more wonderful than she had imagined. She squealed with glee as she jumped into a boat with Neville in toe. The boys watched her with a small smiles something that many people did often as they floated towards the castle. Y/n though was oblivious to it. It was just a special trait she had.

They walked into the castle and up the stairs where they met with an old woman who introduced herself as Professor McGonagall. She left and then drama ensued between Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter, standing right next to them was Ron Weasley. They exchanged insults before Y/N put herself between the two.

"Hey that's not very nice! You should go around insulting people! Harry that was quite passive aggressive of you." She smiled as the boys looked at her confused. After an awkward pause Y/N cleared her throat wishing she hadn't said anything, but instead of shutting up she began to ramble some more. "I mean we will be practically living together for the next 7 years. Don't go making enemies on the first day."

Seeming to get over his shock at the audacity of this girl Draco spoke first. "And who the hell are you?"

"Oops sorry," she exclaimed before extending her hand out in greeting. "I'm Y/N Sunshine a pleasure to meet you."

Draco smirked and shook her hand. "My father told me I might meet you. Draco Malfoy, the pleasure is all mine."

"Oh! Mr. Malfoy wanted to be sure we were friends. He told me himself." She said matter of factly. "And you two are Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. I have heard a lot about you, especially the former."

The boys were about to respond when McGonagall came back to guide them into the great hall. Y/N was astounded by the enchanted room. She saw Cedric in his seat and smiled widely waving at him. She couldn't contain herself from how overwhelmingly happy she was. She hadn't felt this way in a long time.

The group stood in the front of the hall as McGonagall announced the sorting ceremony was about to begin.

"I can't wait to see what house I'll be in." Y/N said excitedly to the three boys. Draco looked at her a bit exasperatedly while Harry and Ron wore awkward smiles. Her energy was almost a bit too much for the boys. A girl named Hermione was sorted to Griffindor and Draco was sorted into Slytherin.

"Y/N Sunshine." McGonagall read and the girl skipped the the stool and sat down with a smile on her face. The hat was placed on her head and it immediately shouted.

"HUFFLEPUFF!"
