New ally

When Drew arrived at the surface he noticed that something just wasn't right. As he walked towards the door in the wall he realized Skye was gone "oh my god..., where has she gone off to now?" As he opened the door he saw something very peculiar, the crops had grown to full height! "Why are the crops at full height?" He asked himself as he closed the door then he saw that every other plant had not grown! "What is happening ?" As he walked around the place he saw something flying in the sky. "Hmm? , I wonder what that is?" And as he finished that sentence the creature launched itself at him. The creature screeched a long note that caused him to become dazed. And in that moment the creature slashed at his leg and caused him to start bleeding. "OWWWWW!!!" He roared as he transformed, then the wound on his leg disappeared as it healed over. Then he saw what the creature was, it was a griffin!! As he flew forward with his claws outstretched the creature flew towards the house and flew into a hole. As drew stood there he saw it sitting there growling and as he shifted back he realized it was shifting to human form as well and when the shifting stopped he saw a young man standing there with him in armor. "Whoa , never thought there were others like me, weird huh?, being like this?" "Yeah I get what you mean, we're different from most people, especially the wild people." "Yup you've got the idea, my names Ben what's yours?" "Drew, nice to meet you Ben, say how long have you been here?" Not long I just came here looking for food because the area I was previously in is flooding because it's a valley at the base of a mountain." "Do you know anything about how the crops got so big?" "Yeah I found a tome in an old cave that gave a guide to a growing spell." "Oh well thanks!" Said Drew, "No problem, So could I stay here for a while I have a little tree house built out there and I was wondering if I could stay here?" "Sure you can!, so can you help us with dealing with the tribes?" "Sure and see ha later!"
