Chapter 13

Paankhi's POV

Before dinner, Anju showed me her Mansion. It was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Now she is showing me her room and her closet. Her room is as spacious as mine. But I loved the cage swing in her room. I will ask Pops to get the same install in my room.

After seeing her room she asked me to unpack my bag and she too started to arrange her stuffs that we bought in the mall, today. After arranging everything we both planned to watch a movie.But we ended watching a Korean drama that is 'The Eternal Monarch' as we both are K-drama and K-pop fan. We just completed 5 episodes but we both fell asleep.

I woke at morning 8:00 and went to washroom to freshen up. Then I went to the kitchen to get some lemon water to drink it as it is my habit.

While I was boiling water I saw Advay coming out from the home gym. He was only in his sweatpants. His body was covered with sweat. He was looking sexy.....would be just an understatement.

"Enjoying the view." He asked coming near to me.

"Don't think high of yourself, who was looking at you."

"Oh, I thought someone was drooling over me."

"I was just thinking..." I stopped as I ran out of an excuse and started preparing my lemon water.

"What were you thinking" he came more close to me. Now our lips were just few inches apart. As reflex I closed my eyes.

1 second.....2 second.......3 second.......

He started laughing and I opened my eyes to see that now he was standing away from me sipping the lemon water I prepared for myself.

"That is mine" I was embarrassed because of involuntary action of closing my eyes.

He didn't said anything and went back to his room. I have to take revenge for this.

I went back to Anju's room, woke Anju and took bath. After taking bath I wore a comfortable top and sweatpant.

I thought to prepare breakfast as Anju told me that her maid took holiday for few days.

Anju and I were going to kitchen when we saw Advay bringing breakfast to the table.

"You prepared breakfast" I asked him in surprise.

"I am perfect in everything." Advay boasted about himself.

"That's true. But he sucks in cooking and he just can make omelette" Anju said

"If you will taste my cooking you will ask again and again." He said

We all sat to have breakfast.

"It's not that bad." I complimented

"See I told you" Advay said while patting his own shoulder

After breakfast Advay went back to his room as he said he has some important work to do. While I and Anju went to the lawn.

"Wow, the flowers are really beautiful." I said while I was busy observing the garden

"Yeah, Bhai takes care of the garden." Anju said

"Really, Cheeku too love gardening."

"Yeah, they both used to gardening whenever they used to gather." She said while looking at me. I just nodded.

"Wait, I have a question" Anju said

"Yes, ask"

"Cheeku never told he has a sister"

"I am his uncle's daughter."

"You mean his uncle ' The Vikrant Kapoor' " she said with excitement.

"Yes, wait before you ask anything I will explain you everything." I said by seeing the her curious face.

"My mom and Dad loved each other since their college days and wanted to marry but my grandparents were against it because mom was from middle class family. But dad was determined to marry her. So my grandparents threatened my mom and asked her to leave dad. At that time was pregnant with me. So she decided to save me. And left dad. Because of heartbreak dad went to New York and established his own business "The VK". Mom tried to contact him but that was failure. When I was 15 years old Dad came back as My grandpa and Cheeku's dad passed away due to some accident. By coincidence he met mom again and mom told him everything. And they both married. Dad wanted us to settle in New York but Mom stopped him as Cheeku was in shock because his dad's sudden death, that also his mom died when he was young so he got close to mom." I completed

When I looked at Anju she had tears in her eyes. I hugged her and comforted her.
