Chapter 20

Paankhi's POV

Its been 3 years, I left my country and came to New York . I have been working for our company. Plus I opened my own boutique 'Zenith'. Its running quite good. Next week is its two year Anniversary. I have been running the boutique with help of my partner 'Stella White'.

Stella and I became friends when I came to New York. We met in a mall. We instantly became friends. She also works as head of finance in my company.

My parents visit me every 2-3 months. Cheeku collabed the 'The Universal' and 'The V.K'. Because of that my responsibilities grew. Cheeku was always there to help me.

Still Cheeku and Anju are in relationship. Even they are planning to tell their parents officially and want to have marriage.

When I took responsibility of the company, I almost left designing. But after opening my boutique, I started doing some designing. I am going to open few more branches.

I was still in my office when my assistant alerted me about the next meeting with one of the European Company. I need this contract so that our business can flourish in Europe. This company is going to take two companies for its next project. It is one of the biggest opportunity.

This project belongs to the Romano's. This project is going to be handled by Antonio Romano. He has been taking care of his company since last four years. He is known as 'The Ruthless Boss'. I have heard that it's tough to work with him. He is coming all way to New York for this deal. So I have to make sure, I get this deal.

I went to the Conference hall and there were my staff members.

"Are you prepared well." I asked the head the project.

"Yes Mam." He replied with confidence.

"Good. What about others?"

"Everyone is ready, mam" he informed.

The presentation was up to mark. Mr.Romano liked the presentation and confirmed the deal.

"Thank you, sir" I thanked him

"No need to thank me, its your hard work." He said and we shook hands.

"Well, what about the other partner." I asked curiously

"I have finalized the deal with one Indian company." He told me

"Oh great" I said

"Actually that company belongs to my friend and he is very good in this line." He told

Now I was more curious.

"Can I ask you, which company?" I said

" It's surprise, I will declare it on the party, next week." He said

"Okk, have a nice day"

"Same to you"

Now I am waiting for the next week to come.
