She's all Yours

Party:)

𝐗𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Everything is set for the party. Even though it is not an important party I've prepared well. We have a match next week. We all are stressed. So as a break from everything I've called everyone in the team including the coach and staff to the party. But our coach and staff won't be coming because they are engaged in some meetings. So, yep. I'm waiting for the boys.

𝑻𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒐𝒏𝒈

I think they arrived. I opened the door and saw Daniel and Michael. They are always the one who first arrives whenever one of us holds a party. But this time someone else also came with them. He's the one who always arrives late. That was surprising. He arrived before the party even started.

" Oh my god, what am I seeing..did you get the time wrong?? You're 20 minutes early Carter." I said.

"Hey, didn't you see us?" said Daniel and Michael in unison.

"You guys always show up first. But he's not like that" I said.

They both snorted and pushed past me and entered the living room. It's as big as an auditorium. When they pushed past me I sighed. And Carter placed both hands over both of my shoulders and started pushing me inside. Just as we entered the hall there was another ring from the doorbell. I turned to face Carter and he nodded while taking his hands off my shoulder. I walked up to the door and there they were...everyone was there wearing party wears. Luke and Noah are missing. But I soon heard a bike honk. They must be again racing. I turn to others and told them to get in. And there they were racing. They stopped right in front of me. They both took off their helmet at the same time.

"Who finished first?" Luke asked me. I sighed.

"Noah reached first" I replied.

"NO. Not again. You are always on his side. You both are cheating." said Luke.

"You and I both know that he is a part-time racer"

"So what? Let me say, he is winning because I was not there to compete with him"

"Join the next match then," said Noah.

"No"

"Why?" I asked.

"I know that you are using the match money for your sister's tuition and both of your rent. If I participate you will loose. Even though I haven't seen your sister I don't want her to be kicked out" said Luke.

"We are good now. I have enough money for at least 6 month's expenses. So please don't worry too much and join" said Noah. Here Noah has won the upper hand in the fight.

I facepalmed myself and said " Okay, okay. He has a meeting when you are having that race. So he won't be able to join the race."

Luke's eyes glowed when I said that. I know he is very grateful to me now. Before Noah could talk again I cut him off.

"Now let's go inside?"

They both nodded.
