Dr. Kim is the only one who stayed calm, centuries of experience in the emergency room was the evidence of his quiet, authoritative voice.

"Taehyung, Rosie, get Jimin outside."
Unsmiling for the first time, Tae nodded as him and Rosie immediately obeyed.

Jungkook was shocked and regretted the defensive action he made as he looked down on me. I can tell that he's not breathing, he didn't moved from his position either.

I thought I saw Jennie rolled her eyes, even she's not saying anything I can tell just by her expression that she's disappointed. I very much wanted to defend myself, this wouldn't happened if I'm a vampire like them.

Dr. Kim immediately knelt down beside me, leaning close to examine my arm. I could feel the shock frozen on my face. "Here." Jennie said, handing him the thin scrap from the bottom of the white tablecloth she ripped.

He reached over and twisted it around my arm above the elbow. The smell of my own blood was making me dizzy.

"Lisa.." Dr. Kim said softly. "Do you want me to drive you to the hospital, or would you like me to take care of it here?"

"Here, please." I whispered. If he took me to the hospital, there would be no way to keep this from Jisoo.

"I have to stitch this up in my office." Dr. Kim calmly said.

"I'll get your bag in your car." Jennie said.

I looked up to Jungkook who's standing on his spot like a statue. His jaw was rigid, his eyes burned with the intensity of the thirst he fought--worse for him than it was for the others.

"Just go, Jungkook." I said. "Dr. Kim can fix it. Get some fresh air."

"I'll stay." He speak, finally. He walked towards me and help me to reached his father's office while Dr. Kim kept the pressure on my arm.

Jennie was already there with Seokjin's black bag, placing on the top of the table. Jungkook stood behind her, staring deeply at me, still protective, still not breathing.

I winced as Dr. Kim did something to my arm that stung.

"You can go now." I mumbled.

"No, I can handle it." He insisted.

His father decided to interfered. "Son, go find Jimin. . .I'm sure he's very upset with himself, and I doubt he'll listen to anyone but you right now."

"Let's go, Kook." Jennie mumbled to him.

Jungkook's eyes narrowed as we ganged up on him, finally, he nodded once before he sprinted smoothly through the office's door with Jennie.

A numb feeling was spreading through my arm. Though I couldn't feel the sting anymore, I can still remember how long and deep it was.

I watched Dr. Kim's face carefully to distract myself from what his hands were doing.

His jet black hair shines in the bright light as he bent over my arm. There was no pain now, just a gentle tugging sensation that I tried to ignore. No reason to cry like a baby.

"I'm sorry.." I mumbled.

"It's not your fault, Lisa." Seokjin comforted me with a smile. "Jimin hasn't been away from human blood as long as the rest of us."

I couldn't find any trace of anxiety in his face. The only sound besides our quiet breathing was the soft plinks as the tiny fragments of glass dropped one by one to the stainless bowl.

"How can you do this?" I asked, wondering.

He smiled and looked up at me, "Years and years of practice," he told me. "I barely notice the scent anymore."
