Shadow's pov
I layed in bed that night thinking about the events of this day. I really did like her..A sudden sadness fell over my heart. I almost started tearing up, when I heard my phone ring. Ugh..Who would call me this late? I looked at my phone. Sidearms again. I sighed as I slid the green button over.
"H-hello?.." I said and slightly asked. "Hi there Shadow..I was just wondering if you were okay. We didn't really have time to talk earlier and I just wanted to check on you," Side quietly replied. I felt sorry for how many times I have made fun of him. He really does care. "Uh yeah..I'm fine. Just a little shook up and confused I guess," I said.
Side's pov
I checked my clock next to my bed. 4:50?! "Shadow...We've been talking for 2 hours. Don't you wanna go get some rest? You've had a long day," I said. "Oh ok. Goodnight Side," Shadow said with drowsyness in his voice. "Can we talk tomorrow too?" I asked.
