A new change We got to my house. "Well, it's no palace, but it's what I got to live in lorna" I said with a break in my voice. She looked around with disgust and in her eyes, I could see she hated it. A tear came down my eye. She looked at me and said, "Oh don't cry, it's ok, it's not your fault, don't stress, please!" She said putting her hand on my shoulder. I wiped my tear away and we went in. Dad was here. "O-oh dad, this is my friend Lorna, she just came to visit" I said with a shakey voice. "Ohh izzie...why are you bringing friends over?!" He said. " sorry sir, but is this where you live?" Lorna asked cautiously. "Yes— I'm sorry madam, we're poor, we have nothing, this is the only place we can stay, it's better than nothing." My dad said looking at the ground guilty. "Oh my dear.. I-I'm sorry I didn't know you live in such a state!" She said feeling Down in the dumps. She hugged me ever so tightly, she felt sorry for me, I could tell by her face. "I have nothing Lorna, nothing." I said streaming with tears. "Well I do! Iz-Izzie, my dads a state agent, he can re-do your house! IT WILL LOOK AMAZING, if that's what you want Mr Campbell..?" "No-no I'm sorry we don't have the money...-" "It's ok! My dad will do your house for free, he's a good guy and he can re-do your house and make it look amazing. He will do it for free only if you help?" "Of course, anything!" My dad stood up and smiled so happily.
It was the next week and we had crew members from his company come and clean the house, me and my dad smiled at each other when we were scrubbing the walls, things were finally going to change. At the door, Lorna and her dad was there. Hi izzie!!" Lorna Said as she hugged me. "Heyy lorna!!" I said while I hugged her back. "Hello mr Campbell, i am lorna's dad and I want to help you, make you feel better. "Hello mr Thomson and thank you, thank you so much" my dad said as he shaked lorna's dads hand. It took about 1 month for the house to be renovated and it looked so much better.
The floor boards were shiny and the new, comfy sofas were amazing, the kitchen was clean and no mouse were running around, the taps were working and my room was bigger, and there were no dirty, poo stains on the toilet, carpets were clean and dusted, our garden had flowers and lavenders everywhere, the clown I met before was locked up, a police found him in an alleyway luckily. it was amazing, my new life. I hugged my dad and he hugged me back, I was so happy, until things got better. Lorna's dad found a new job as a nurse and gave the 'state agent' job to my dad, which he accepted, he got about £1000 a week, we were rich. my life is perfect now. -Saida
