Y/N helped Yachi refill the water bottles from the boys' team while Kiyoko stayed back to record the team's score.

"Yachi-san," Y/N said as Yachi turned her head to meet her eyes. "I'm a little curious, why did you apply to be the manager of the volleyball team?" She asked while playing with the bottles she was holding.

"Kiyoko-san approached me...I was a little distracted at first because of how pretty she is...but once I visited their practice, it was really fun!" Yachi said.

"I used to get scared around them of how tall and scary-looking they are, but they are actually really nice." She continued while smiling at herself.

"Don't judge a book by its cover they say, Tsukishima can be salty on the outside but he's sweet on the inside." Y/N said smirking as she recalls a moment from both of them. Yachi raised her brow and gave her a puzzled look.

"How come?" She asked.

"Yamaguchi invited me to join their little hangout at Tsukishima's house. I get to meet his mother and his older brother. I faked cried once and you could've seen the gentle look on his face." Y/N said laughing as she remembers Tsukishima embarrassed and started hitting Y/N mercilessly.

"I never knew that side of him! I'd like to see it, I bet Hinata would make fun of him..." Yachi giggled as she opened the doors of the gym and head inside.

They came just in time, the boys' finished their game against Nekoma. Kuroo watched Y/N as she comes in from the door with a smile on her face while talking to Yachi.

Kenma noticed it and sighed. "You look like a creepy stalker, stop staring at her." He said as he took his phone and walk away from him. Kuroo just huffed at him and continued gazing at the H/C-haired girl.

Eventually, a few seconds Y/N finally caught him staring at her. She just smiled at him nervously and looked away, talking to her brother.

"He just keeps staring...I guess he was still shocked about the confession..." Y/N thought as she passed the water bottle to Daichi, who thanked her.

Y/N was more nervous about the two. Hinata and Kageyama haven't arrived and she felt anxious just by thinking. It was really upsetting to see Hinata frowning when he thought he couldn't go to Tokyo with Kageyama.

Luck came to them that so suddenly someone opened the doors of the gym. It was a blonde-haired lady wearing a sleeveless shirt grinning at them.

"Looks like we just made it in time!" She said and moved away as Hinata and Kageyama arrived.

"They arrived fashionably late, eh?" Kuroo smirked while Kenma stared at them. Hinata holding the door on the right side while Kageyama on the left.

Y/N just clicked her tongue and glared at the two cutie pies who noticed the glare and looked away innocently.

"You still don't forgive them after the results?" Tsukishima asked grinning at her, seeing her annoyed.

"Of course, I've worked so hard to tutor these two! I even canceled my Anime marathon at the weekends just to get those two pass their exams!" Y/N said crossing her arms and huffed.

Tsukishima grinned more and patted your head, leaving you mumbling to yourself about Anime.

Who knew she would be close friends with the salty dino?
