Y/N watched the boys run many times after losing a lot of matches. She felt bad that they were still on their losing streak and she has nothing to say to lighten them up. She also saw Kiyoko and Yachi look at her with the same expression.

Takeda was also worried for them as well as Coach Ukai, his expression won't tell it but Y/N can guess that he also feels the same way. She bit her lip trying to think of advice to help.

After another defeat, Y/N helped the managers by giving towels and their water bottles to the team. Y/N hands a towel to Tsukishima, who accepted it and wiped his sweaty face.

"If your body can't handle it, you can just tell me. I'll tell Nii-chan to let you sit this one out." Y/N said to him with a water bottle in her hand giving it to Yamaguchi.

Tsukishima smirked at her. "Oh, now the shortie is concerned for me? How sweet." He patted Y/N's head painfully with the not-so-angelic-smile on him.

Y/N clicked her tongue, she was not able to reach his head to smack him so she slapped his back harshly. He almost spits the water on his mouth after experiencing the most painful slap he had in his whole life.

"Also, don't call me shortie, I'm given with this height, you're just taller." Y/N said rolling her eyes. "Tho, I'm annoyed at how I can't reach your head!" She barked at him, making Yamaguchi grab her before the two start bickering.

"Shortie~!" Tsukishima teased, repeating the same word until Y/N snapped and start punching his shoulder while Yamaguchi is freaking out about it.

Kuroo watched Y/N as she continued punching Tsukishima. He felt a tinge of jealousy from seeing your annoyed expression after getting called short several times by Tsukishima.

He wanted to talk to her but he had no time to talk despite practice and by Himari, who kept bugging him until now. He just wanted a normal conversation with her just once.

Maybe he should approach her and start a normal conversation? Yet, he is busy with volleyball. He saw Daichi stopped the two from bickering while Sugawara dragged Tsukishima away. Y/N sighed and glanced in his direction, locking eyes with him after catching him staring at her.

Kuroo didn't notice, his cheeks started heating up after locking eyes with her and he froze from where he stood.

"Hmm...he's been off since yesterday." A smile couldn't hurt so Y/N smiled at him before leaving the gym. She was called by the other managers so she followed them.

"Everyone!" Miyanoshita, manager of Ubugawa High gathered the attention of them. "Shinzen High's club came and brought of watermelons!" She said with some of the managers and Y/N behind her, carrying a tray of watermelons.

Y/N finished serving the boys, she also took one for herself and bit the fruit as she sat down on the grass.

Kuroo was with Daichi, Asahi, and Tanaka talking about what happened about making their middle blocker mad. Y/N wanted to approach him but she couldn't. She doesn't want to interrupt their conversation.

Both of them wanted to talk to each other so badly.

Y/N munched down her watermelon listening to Hinata, Kenma, and Lev's conversation. She felt a bit alone since Kiyoko and Yachi are busy with the other managers. Himari was there so Y/N had no intention to go there. She looked around to look for someone to talk to but she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and to see Kuroo sitting beside her.

"Hey, kitty~," He said, smirking at her, it made Y/N blush a little, and dropped her gaze to the fruit she's eating.

"Hey, Kuroo." Y/N said while munching the fruit. It looked cute to Kuroo to see her deliciously eating the fruit.

"So...how are you?" He asked trying to start a conversation. Somehow, he was acting different around her, like he was being shy and nervous.

"I'm doing well..." She said and caught Himari glaring at her again. Feeling annoyed to receive many glares from her, she ignored her turning her attention back to Kuroo.

Y/N sighed which caught Kuroo's attention. "You should go and talk to your friend Himari, she looks like she wants to talk to you." She said to him.

"Eh? But I want to talk to you chibi-chan~" He said pinching her cheek. Y/N suddenly blushed again and aimed his stomach to poke it but he caught her hand. Instead, she pinched his nose. "Stooop! You are so-" He disrupted her by pinching her nose as well. Both of them stopped and looked at each other.

Both of them started laughing at their childish behaviors as Kuroo ruffled her hair. "You are so cute~," He said. Y/N rolled her eyes. "Of course I am, I'm beautiful." She said proudly making him snicker.

"I'm more beautiful." Y/N said as she stuck her tongue. "Oh really? Okay, then you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." Kuroo said. His words made her flustered and she pushed him away as he continued laughing.

"You are so flirty." Y/N said. "No wonder why you have so many fangirls." She exclaimed. "Oh~? Is my kitty jealous?" He asked trying to grab her waist but she scooted away from him before her brother sees and end this man's life.

"Kuroo-senpai!!! Can you help me??? You are so strong you might be able to carry them!!!" Himari suddenly appeared behind them and hugged Kuroo. Y/N noticed how uncomfortable Kuroo was after receiving a hug from Himari.

"Fine...see you around kitty~" He winked at Y/N before leaving with Himari dragging him away from her. She cannot help but sigh one more time and watched the two leave.

Y/N saw her brother sat down beside her. "I'm glad you've been getting along with the others N/N. But I can't help but get curious about your relationship with the Nekoma's  captain." He said, his glasses glinting a little showing him he was dead curious about the two.

"Nii-chan..." Y/N sighed again. "Kuroo was my crush before...when I planned to leave Tokyo, I decided to confess to him. I didn't know I was going to see him again when Nekoma invited us to this training camp." She said. Y/N was always honest with her brother because she trusts him. He smiled at her and patted her back gently.

"I'm fine with you dating someone N/N but make sure he IS the one. I don't want you to get hurt by choosing the wrong person." Her brother said. Y/N felt like crying from her brother's words. "Nii-chan!! You're the best!" Y/N said as she tackled him to a hug. Everyone stared in awe watching the two siblings hug.

Y/N was in the bathroom washing her hands after. She recalled the words her brother said to her. He was fine with her dating someone but he seemed a bit sad that she had an interest in dating. Y/N looked down knowing that her brother loves her and took care of her but one day leaves him to start her own life.

Y/N didn't notice that someone was with her the whole time. She thought it was Yachi from the blonde hair but when she turned around.

It was Himari.

Her cheek was freshly cut with blood coming out from the cut. She forced Y/N to grab the scissors and

She started crying.

"What are you trying to do!?" Himari shouted at her pretending to cry once Kiyoko and Kaori come in. They saw Y/N with the scissors in her hands.

Both of them started at Y/N with a shocked expression.

"Y/N! What have you done!?"
