River Travels ( a naruto story)

O_O We are soooo dead! RUN!!!

Everyone turned their heads towards the trees that Misty was barking at. Everyone but Josh and Alison got in a fighting stance. 

The bushes rustled and out came Itachi and Kisame.

Misty narrowed her eyes at them. "Itachi, Sauske's older brother. Kisame, one of the deadly  swordsmen. Impressive. Now talk to become dog chow." Misty smirked.

Itachi narrowed his eyes at Misty in suspicion. 

Kisame looked at Misty then back at Itachi.

"Yeah, I know you. I can't believe I'm saying this but you are an idiot Itachi." Misty said glaring at him.

MIsty's friends that knew about the manga and anime, started laughing at Misty's 'idiot' comment.

Misty blinked. "What...It's true. Dumb-Dumb here basically killed his clan off when he could've fixed stuff but no he left his baby brother all alone in the village like a jerk face."

Itachi glared at Misty. 

Kisame grinned and chuckled.

"Now explain why you were sneaking up on us very poorly I might add." Misty barked at Itachi.

Itachi's eyebrows rose. 

Kakashi sensei sweat dropped.

Alison smiled.

Shea held back a laugh. 

Josh looked around like he was missing something.

Eddie and Eli glanced at one another with tooth grinned smiles.

Naruto stood there confused by what was going on.

Kisame looked like he was getting bored and ready to fight.

Misty noticed Kisame's stance and barked. "Don't you dare Kisame! Your not the only one who can disappear and kill." Misty smirked. "And to prove my point I'll show you." Misty disappeared from Alison's arms and reappeared on Kisame's head. Misty bit Kisame's ear.

"Oooow!" Kisame yelled trying to grab the dog form of Misty.

Misty disappeared and reappeared in Alison's arms again. "Yuck! You taste like fish!" Misty spit on the ground trying to get the taste out of her mouth.

All of Misty's friends burst out laughing.

Misty glared at Kisame as he reached for his Samehade. "Do it. I dare you. I will go mastiff on your butt."

Kisame growled under his breath and looked over at Itachi.

Itachi sighed and looked over at Misty.

Misty narrowed her eyes. "Speak now or me and my lovely friends will kill you where you stand."

Josh and all of Misty's friends grinned evilly and the boys cracked their knuckles.

Naruto got behind Kakashi and hid himself from Misty's friends view. He thougth to himself, 'Aww man! Why do I find the creepy people!'

Kakashi sighed as he sweat dropped.

Itachi looked at Misty. "We've come here only to observe. We are not here to fight anyone."

Misty thought to Shea, 'Looks like Pein is curious about us.'

Shea sighed then looked at the two mean. "You want to observe us? Knowing the skills both of you have. You could have watched from afar and we would never have known." Shea paused for a moment. "So, there has to be another reason other than observing."

Kisame glanced at Itachi before staring Shea down.

"So, you believe that there is another reason for us being here." Itachi said with a slightly raised eyebrow.

"I would advise that you two leave before something happens." Shea stated. She was getting a bad feeling about this.

Misty noticed Shea's reaction and growled, "Yeah! You both need to leave!"

Kisame grinned at this while Itachi had a faint smirk. "We will go for now... but when we come back, it will be too late to run." 

The two left soon after Itachi's words.

After a few quiet moments, everyone started to relax.

Kakashi turned to the group of kids. He really did not understand the kids, but he did have to give them some points on being both brave and stupid. "Let's get back to the village." was the only thing Kakashi said. He wanted to talk with the Hokage first before confronting the kids about their actions.

After getting back, Kakashi asked Naruto to stay with the group until he got back.

Naruto sat, uncomfortably with the group in thier temporary home. They have only been back for five minutes, everyone was silent.

Shea stood up, "Okay, next time some powerful bad guys come up, lets not make fun of them."

"Why? We were not in any trouble! We out numbered them as well." Josh stated.

Everyone agreed with Josh except Naruto, Misty, and Shea. 

Misty shook her head. "No, Shea has a point. We need to be careful next time."

"They made it sound like next time is going to be soon." Shea said.

Misty nodded her head, "We need to make a plan this time."

"We could blow them up!" Josh shouted.

Naruto sat there as he not only watched but listened to their plans. He had to admit they could be very scary. And violent. But for the first time, they were planning and being careful.

Misty sighed. "Josh, you can make some bombs and a weapon for yourself. Eli, your the only one who can go up against Kisame head on. You and him are water users so it'll be easier for you. Eddie, you can help him. Alison, um... not sure what you can do, so you and me will help Shea fight Itachi. Just make sure you don't look him in the eyes. Now all we have to do is train and that is where you come in, Naruto. You and Kakashi sensei are gonna help us all train. Sauske is still at the hospital and Sakura can help us with training." Misty explained.

Shea looked over at Naruto and the others. "Did everyone hear their roles or should I repeat Misty's words? No? Good. Now let the fun commence!" Shea smirked and rubbed her hands together.

Naruto blinked as he stared at Shea. 'Man that's one creepy girl! She's worse than Sakura.'

Misty jumped to the ground and starts walking to the door.

Shea looks up at Misty. "Hey Misty? Where ya goin?"

Misty didn't turn her head to look at Shea. She only lifted a paw to wave behind her and said to Shea. "I'm going for a walk around the village, so don't worry about me kay? Laters!" Misty went through the convenient doggy door.

Alison and Shea both sighed. Alison looked at Shea and then back at Eddie and Eli. "What day is today?"

Eddie spoke up. "June 10th." Realization dawned on him. "Oh! That's what's up!"

Naruto and the others looked at him and they all said at the same time. "What's up?"

Eddie looked up at the cieling. "Today's Misty's birthday... and I think I can already tell what her wish is..."

Alison looked down at the ground. "Tomorrow's Misty's mom's birthday and she's gonna miss it. I bet she is a little upset right now."
