Velkhana sat within hawthorns cave, her tail tapping the ground as she awaited hawthorns return. She had foughten hawthorn an hour ago, said battle ending in a truce between the two. Velkhana had unexpectedly befriended the barioth, resulting in the two gaining more knowledge of each other. Velkhana had recently learned that hawthorn used to have a son, who was killed by a fulgur anjanath known as "Thor". As Velkhana became lost in her thoughts, she failed to notice hawthorn entering the cave they now shared, at least, until Velkhana found a cave of her own. "Brought you some rations", hawthorn said groggily, tossing a chunk of meat to Velkhana, which landed at her feet. Velkhana said nothing as she scarfed down the meat chunk, having not eaten in hours. "So, where are ya from?" Hawthorn asked, craning his neck around to face his friend. "Its a bit of a long story" Velkhana sighed. Velkhana explained why she came here, and why she was residing here. The barioth felt sympathetic towards Velkhana, seeing the similarities of their stories lining up. However, before hawthorn could offer his condolences to Velkhana for what she had to suffer through, he heard footsteps coming outside of his cave. Then, he heard a voice. "I KNOW YOUR THERE HAWTHORN, YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CANT HIDE!" The voice yelled out. Hawthorn recognized that damn voice he dreaded to hear. "Velkhana, stay here." Hawthorn said sternly as he crept to the cave entrance. "Is it that fulgur anjanath you mentioned? Let me help you, I can freeze him for you." Velkhana offered. "No. This is something between me and Thor. I have to settle this myself" hawthorn said. Hawthorn didn't want his only friend to get herself killed by his arch-nemesis. "Oh, okay." Velkhana said, a tad bit disappointed that she couldn't help her friend. Hawthorn stepped outside the cave and came face to face with Thor. Thor was a bit bulkier and had more vibrant scales than most fulgur anjanath did. "So, are you finally done running from me? Or are you going to run away again like the coward you are?" Thor jeered. The barioth wasted no time in tackling the fulgur anjanath, biting into his back. Thor simply laughed and grabbed the end of hawthorns tail in his jaws, pulled the barioth off his back, and slammed him into the ground with the force of an exploding volcano. Thor places his foot on hawthorns back, and sank his teeth into the barioths neck, causing blood to squirt into Thor's snout. Hawthorn cried out in pain, struggling to free himself. As Thor tightened his grip on hawthorns neck, causing hawthorn to scream in pain, He suddenly was blasted backwards by Velkhanas ice breath. As the fulgur anjanath righted himself, he turned to face his new opponent. "And who the hell are you supposed to be?" Thor snarled. "Velkhana. Now surrender and leave this place" Velkhana said, tightening her grip on the icy ground. "HAH! and listen to a filthy elder dragon, I don't think so. Now run along little girl, before you get hurt." Velkhana roared and launched herself into Thor, knocking him backwards, to the edge of a cliff. Thor charged forward, sank his jaws into Velkhanas shoulder, and sent bolts of electricity through her body. Velkhana screamed in agony, her legs failing to support her body. As her legs collapsed out from under her, she found herself being rolled onto her back by Thor. Thor had a devilish grin on his face as he placed his foot on  Velkhanas chest. Then, he pressed his foot down. The pain that Velkhana felt at that moment was to much to bear, as she felt her ribs begin to crack from how much weight was on her chest. Thor roared with laughter, raising his foot and stomping down on her already fractured ribs. Velkhana tried to use her ice breath, but instead coughed up blood, a sign of internal bleeding. Velkhana screamed in agony, trying to pry Thor's foot off of her chest. Suddenly, all the weight on Velkhanas ribs suddenly disappeared, as she witnessed hawthorn leap into Thor, sink his teeth into his torso, and tear a huge gash in his torso, deep enough to cut through muscle. Thor roared in pain, before collapsing to to the ground, and stopped moving. Velkhana stood, wincing in pain from her fractured ribcage. "By the sapphire star, are you alright?" Hawthorn said, running over to check on his only friend. "Yes....I-I think so." Velkhana said limping over to hawthorn. Velkhana had no idea how she was alive, not keen on questioning it. As Velkhana put her wing over hawthorn, leaning onto him for support, hawthorn suddenly roared out in pain. Behind them, Thor had clamped his jaws around hawthorns tail, And was dragging him to him. Before Velkhana could stop him however, she heard something. "Is that.....singing?" Velkhana thought. Suddenly, the ground began to tremble, resulting in the ground underneath hawthorn and Thor to crack and begin to fall down the cliff. Hawthorn dug his claws into the ground while Thor lost his grip, plummeting into the abyss below, screaming the entire way down. Velkhana and hawthorn looked to each other. They said nothing, as the duo limped back to their cave, shocked as to what they just heard and witnessed.

Nergigante and Val were both busy trying to find any trace of Velkhana, moving under a cliff edge when they suddenly began to hear singing. After that moment, they felt the ground tremble and saw the cliff edge begin to fall, along with Thor plummeting down with the cliff edge. Both elder dragons lept backwards to avoid the rubble. As the dust settled, they saw Thor slowly get up, his jaw broken, and his arm broken as well. As the two watched the fulgur anjanath limp away, blood gushing from his many wounds. They looked back up to where the cliff edge used to be. "Do you see why I hunt her now?" Nergigante said, turning his head to meet with Vals. Val nodded slowly, flabbergasted as to what the hell he just saw. "She really is a threat isn't she?" Val said, a small amount effluvium coming out of his mouth. "Of course she is Val, that's why she must be stopped at all costs. Besides, the two of us will benefit off of her corpse". Nergigante said, pointing his left forearm at the direction of hawthorns cave. "Im going to enjoy this, very very much." Val said his jaw beginning to rattle. "I'm sure the both of us will, once she is finally dead." Nergigante said, grinning at the thought of Velkhanas death becoming inevitable.
