After everyone got dressed and ready, the gang was immediately off. First stop: The mall. Everyone climbed into the car and jammed out to whatever was on the radio. Usually Jasmine just stared out the window until they got wherever they were going, but today they were working extra hard to keep her distracted. Despite knowing exactly what they were doing, she was happy. It was working for the time being. She couldn't help but worry that they would somehow meet Jamie on their day out. She had a gut feeling something would go wrong. She ignored it.

It was a pretty quick drive. It only took fifteen minutes of singing and laughter before they were out of the car, walking into the mall. The place was busy. That was to be expected, not only was it the 4th of July, but it was a Saturday. It was just nice to be out and about.

The main focus of the outing was to get Jasmine some new clothes seeing all of her stuff was destroyed by her brother. So, the three of them went to several clothing stores. They also stopped at the boba shop for a drink. They spent an hour at each store they visited, coming out with big bags of clothes each time. Once they finally decided they were finished, Jasmine went to go get dressed in the bathroom. She wanted to change out of the outfit she was wearing so she could be a little more comfortable.

Jasmine came out of the bathroom wearing a pair of black skinny jeans that loosely fit her small legs and an oversized nirvana t-shirt. It was all paired together with some black gem stud earrings, a chain necklace, and a belt chain. This was stylish AND comfortable. Jasmine's favorite. The earrings really complimented her dark hair. It looked great. The twins definitely approved, as Jack shouted "Hell yeah!" while his brother wolf whistles and clapped his hands together, applauding the look. Jasmine blushed at the compliments. "So where are we off to now, boys?"

"To the beach! Its seven already, the fireworks start at eight! Let's go!!" John said, pointing in front of him, playfully marching toward the exit. Jasmine giggled and quickly followed while Jack just followed behind the two of them.

Quickly, John hopped into the driver's seat while Jasmine and Jack sat into the back together. The passenger seat was occupied by the bags of clothing. "Thank you for all the clothes... I'll find a way to pay you back, I promise." She said as John pulled out of the parking lot. "Nonsense! You needed some new clothes so we got them! Consider it a gift for gracing us with your presence." He said, earning another giggle from the girl. "Seriously, I can't thank you enough." Suddenly, the radio started playing full blast. "Sorry, I can't hear you! Too much music!" John yelled as he changed the radio channel to something he liked better.

"Look, I see the beach!" Jack said to Jasmine, pointing toward the sandy shore. The water was sparkling, and it was all that was able to be seen from the road. It was beautiful. Moments later they turned in to a paid parking lot. "You two grab the cooler and towels. I'm going to pay for the parking ticket." John said, hopping out of the car and walking out of sight to the ticket machines. Jasmine and Jack opened the trunk and grabbed all of their stuff. Jasmine carried three beach towels and Jack grabbed the cooler. His twin returned quickly. "I'm back! You guys need any help?"

"We're fine." Jasmine said. She realized how weird it was to be going to the beach wearing jeans and a t-shirt. She decided it didn't matter seeing they were just going to watch the fireworks and leave. "Now let's get moving, I don't want to be late." She said, leading the way to the beach. It was getting dark out and the sans was cool. She was barefooted already. Her shoes were in the car. She smiled gleefully as her foot hit the sand. "I see a spot over there, let's hurry!" She shouted, running toward an empty area she found. She laid everyone's towels down next to each other and looked behind her. The twins were whispering to each other. Jasmine couldn't tell because she wasn't wearing her glasses, but they seemed worried. She just waited for them, sitting on her towel that she had set behind the twins'.

"John, I saw Jamie's car out there. I swear I did." Jack said to his brother. "I was about to tell you the same thing. He must be here. We need to be careful." John said, walking through the sand. "If you see him we are leaving immediately. I'm sure we won't though, he's probably drunk and partying right now. He could care less about the fireworks." He added. The two of them nodded to each other and sped up, changing back to their cheerful manner. "Sorry we took so long, I dropped something and John was making fun of me for it." Jack said, glaring at his brother. John rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever. Open up the cooler, I'm thirsty."
