Chapter 6: Sesshomaru's Proposal.

(Yumi POV) I walked a little way into the forest, Suzu nuzzling up against my face. I giggle as I pet her lightly on the head. She must have been very worried about me. That whole morning was pretty surprising. Nothing I would have expected from Sesshomaru, then again my info about him was pretty limited.' They could have warned me how good looking he is!' All the others spoke about was how Sesshomaru was an evil person who wanted to kill Inuyasha.

'I mean yeah that's pretty dick-ish of him, but nothing ever came up about Rin. Do they not know?'

I let out a sigh, a little frustrated as I recalled my conversation with Sesshomaru earlier. 'Not that much was said between us.' Suzu suddenly hissed, knocking me out of my thoughts. On instinct, I took a fighting stance with my right hand on Yoso's handle, ready to draw my sword as I looked ahead. Yoso pulsed and the aforementioned tall, long-haired handsome asshole that now stands in my way. 'Well, I had a feeling this would happen, Sesshomaru.' I straightened up and took Suzu from my shoulder and into my arms giving Sesshomaru a dull look.

"Yumi: What do you want?"

He stops a foot away from me, Suzu growls and he remains silent. I cocked my head, suddenly getting an uneasy feeling like something is off.

"Yumi: Sesshomaru... Are you okay?"

"Sesshomaru: Are you truly fit to travel?"

I was taken aback by his words, I looked around, suddenly his right hand flew up. I watched closely, as his claws grew and a green demonic aura emanated from them, with a swift movement a green whip sliced through the trees around us, a howl of pain echoed. I turned quickly and saw half a demon corpse fall to the ground. I stared at it with wide eyes. 'Fuck, I didn't even know it was following me.'

"Sesshomaru: Are you always this oblivious?"

I hissed at him and turned towards Suzu.

"Yumi: Did you know we were being followed?"

Suzu mewed with a nod but pointed a paw at Sesshomaru. Indicating she could only smell him.

"Yumi: See Suzu's got my back, Why? You worried?'

"Sesshomaru: I'm here for Rin."

He mutters under his breath. He then turns around and begins walking in the other direction. I was confused but followed him as curiosity got the better of me. I walked next to him, getting a good look at his face, his sharp features made me stare in awe,he gave me a side glance.

"Sesshomaru: Rin has become very fond of you in the few hours of knowing each other."

I nodded my head.

"Yumi: Well, I like her a lot too, I happen to get attached to kids rather easily."

"Sesshomaru: You made her sad."

He stated firmly, I blinked a few times processing his words.

"Yumi: It's only been an hour."

I smirked and looked ahead, we came to a path and continued to walk on it.

"Sesshomaru: Rin is sad."

He turns his head to me slightly, I feel his eyes on me.

"Yumi: Are trying to guilt-trip me?"

I stop walking making him stop as well, he turns to me and is silent for a moment.

"Sesshomaru: Yes."
