The two of you move quietly through the mansion, him humming a tune, his gloomy mind-set keeping his normal inane prattling locked up behind the thin line of his lips. You on the other hand tried several times to break the somewhat awkward silence that had fallen between you, but you never got further than opening your mouth in vain, nerves edging you into silence.

"Whelp, here's your stop." He proclaimed, pushing the door open with his foot and striding inside. You follow after him a moment later and pause as you take in the room. Tendou carefully placed your luggage off to the side and immediately started back towards the door.

"I get my own room?" You wonder aloud, turning to see him pause in the middle of the doorway. He pivots on his heel, turning to face you once more.

"Yes."

"Oh."

"Is that a problem?"

"No, no. I guess I just assumed we would...." You pause, eyes grow wide as you realized how the words you were about say would sound. Tendou already had a damn good guess what your thought had been, it was clear in your expression. You had no doubt assumed they would force the two of you to shack up together right from the get go. He had no interest in putting you through that kind of stress right away. Though he'd be lying if he said the thought of having you all to himself behind closed doors wasn't tantalizing.

"We would what?" He questions, a salacious grin on his lips. The embarrassment in your eyes almost made him say the words you seemed so hesitant to but there was a wanton desire within him that yearned to hear you say them far more. You suck in a lungful of air, retreating further into the room as you try to think of something else, anything else, to say.

"Oh...uhm...well you see..." Each word was stammered out as you rack your brain trying to find some clever way to cover up what you were going to say. It was no good though, despite how your mind stretched not a single believable excuse could be found. So your turned your mind to a new task, finding a different way to say it. It only took a moment to realize that too was an impossible task. You were painfully aware of the magnitude of your idiocy. It wasn't like the idea was unappealing. Tendou was a remarkably handsome man. Even now as he tracked your movements across the room, his dark red eyes almost glowing with mischief, you could feel warmth spreading through your body just from his gaze.

He stood in the doorway at first, watching as your eyes dart around the room, as if suddenly you might find something in the room to inspire whatever defense you were trying to come up with. Slowly, he began to trail along after you, his tongue dragging across the edge of his teeth as he watched you with tremendous interest.

"Don't be nervous. You can tell me."

You blinked rapidly, your feet carrying you further and further back, until you found you had backed yourself right into a wall. Satori almost laughed out loud as he watched your eyes widen even further, a sharp bite to his lip had the laugh stifled into a the impish grin he now wore. Well this was just too perfect, he mused to himself, continuing his approach.

"Go on..." He said, the sweet words of encouragement falling from his lips. You could have almost believed his words to be said in earnest as if he was trying to help you but as he stalked forward you couldn't help but feel unnerved. Not out of fear though, the only way you could think to describe it was excited. The way he languidly sauntered towards you, the almost predatory look in his eyes, it sent a thrill through your body. It was hard to think straight right now and all rational thought went careening out the door, you wanted nothing more than to confess.

"I thought we would share..." You finally breath out, exhaling the breath you hadn't realized you were holding. He feigns a look of surprise as he stops before you, his toes mere inches from yours as he leans forward.

"Oh did you?" The room suddenly felt scorching hot as his intense gaze assesses you up close. This was far too amusing to him, watching you squirm before him. Observing you was like watching a frightened rabbit about to be consumed by a wicked beast. Not quite done with this little game, he inclines his neck, bowing down until his face was a breath away from yours.

"Just say the word beautiful. It'd be my...pleasure...to amend the situation." He made sure to keep his voice low and teasing, pausing for dramatic effect and emphasizing the word pleasure, just to see you writhe.

Holy shit. You had to blink hard to stop your eyes from rolling back in your head as he spoke, his mouth so close to your ear you could feel his breath on your cheek. If not for the wall behind you, supporting most of your weight, you would have dropped to the ground at his offer. His presence was overwhelming at this proximity. His beauty, his scent, his voice, all of it was invading your senses and for just a heartbeat you consider it. Imagining what it might be like to be tangled up in his embrace, how it might feel to have his lips on yours, his fingers knotted in your hair. It would be so easy, he was already on top of you, trapping your body between his and the wall. If you leaned forward even a little you would be pressed against his chest. The sound of laughter somewhere nearby brought your hazy mind crashing back into reality. The door to your room was wide open and the last thing you wanted was for someone to walk in on you like this within the first 30 minutes of arriving. So with some tiny shred of your returning will-power you manage to squeeze out a reply.

"I'm fine, thank you." The words are pushed out on a breath, as you stare back up at him, eyes wide and skin flushed.

And with those words he was gone, standing in the doorway once more, hands shoved deep into his jacket pockets as if nothing had happened.

"You'll be taking a tour of the premises in awhile so make sure you're ready." He sighs out, the playfulness that had engulfed his expression just moments ago fallen away into a mask of neutrality.

"I will."

Tendou glances to the side, only getting a glance of you in his peripheral before returning his gaze to the empty hallway before him. Without another word he disappears into the house, oblivious of the delighted smile on your lips.

The room you'd been provided was fairly spacious, undecorated but for the furniture that had been here when you arrived. The bed was soft and big, covered in a grey comforter and sheets to match. All the furniture was a deep charcoal color which stood out against the cool smoke colored walls. The next couple of hours are spent sorting through your suitcases and putting the things you had brought away. Before long you found yourself sitting on the edge of your bed, mindlessly scrolling through your phone until a rap at the door had you on your feet. You swing the door in, a bright smile on your face.

"Hey Te---" Your words come to an abrupt halt as you see the figure before you. It was not Tendou. Staring back at you was the soft creased face of an elderly woman. Uncertain of who she was and wanting to make sure you didn't cause any offense, you bend at the waist into a low bow, taking the opportunity to hide your confusion as you stare at your shoes. Apparently, you had made an error when you'd cheerily thought he would be the one to escort you on the tour.

"Oh my, so polite." She let out a laugh before gently patting your shoulder. "No need to be so formal my dear." You slowly rise, offering her a smile.

"Ah, what a pretty face. Satori is a lucky man." Her kind words split your lips into a shy smile. As the two of you started away from the door you couldn't help the twinge of disappointment that settled into your chest. You had been looking forward to spending more time with him but even as you started to find yourself dwelling on it, you gave your head a mental shake. Tendou hadn't even said he would be the one to take you on the tour so you really had no one to blame but yourself for your inflated expectations.
