Marinette's POV

I wake up to someone pounding my door. I look at the time and see it's 5:00 AM. "WTH Adrien, why did you wake me up at 5:00?" I call to the door.

I could hear him sigh loudly, "We need to get to the studio and set some stuff up, the opening is at 9:00 and we also have the party today at 7:00 with Audrey's request so you need to get ready."

"Ahh you're right I need to get ready!" I call.

I quickly get out of my bed and take a shower. I then dress into a white blouse, long black pencil skirt, and a pink blazer. I head to the kitchen and see Adrien dressed in a white shirt, black vest, and green tie holding out two coffee cups.

He hands one to me and I grab it greedily, "Ahh the sweet sweet smell of my delicious coffee. You are the best!"

Adrien smiles, "You're welcome!"

I look up at him, "I was talking to the coffee."

He gasps playfully, "I have been replaced, with coffee!"

We both laugh and finish our cups. We then knock on Alya and Nino's apartment door and they open it.

"Hey! You guys ready?" I ask.

"Of course! I have finally been assigned an actual job and it's to interview you guys on your business! I can't believe my best friend and me have our job beginnings on the same day!" Alya squeals.

I hug her, "Me too!"

"So when will you guys come to the office?" Adrien asks.

"We have to drop by the news station first but we'll be there by 7," Nino says.

"That sounds great, we'll see you guys there!" I say and me and Adrien go to the parking garage and get in the car.

"I can't believe we're finally opening up a business! I mean, I had website when I was younger and I got commissions and stuff but now it'll be a brand!" I exclaim.

Adrien chuckles, "This is exciting, I'm glad I'm doing this with you and not my... you know. Besides, I think it would've been harder if we weren't already known. Like sure you didn't have a brand you just commissioned, but everyone still knew about you and your incredible designing skills. I'm pretty sure Audrey did nothing to get you into those events."

I smile, "Thanks Adrien, I wouldn't have done it without you! My website was practically run by Alya after I fell for the "I'm poor and I need clothing so can you please give it to me for free" trick. I would've been ok with it if they had asked for one thing but they asked for a bunch and I spent all my chore money on fabric!"

He laughs, "I remember that! Alya and I gave you a whole lesson on how the business world works, and then you yelled at me when I "called" you "naive" and turned it into a social cue lesson for me."

"Ok, maybe I should've listened but I'm glad we're working together," I say.

"I agree. So Ms. Dupain-Cheng, why did you want to become a designer?" Adrien asks.

I giggle, "Well I wanted to be a designer cause it's always been my passion. When I was younger I used to go through my mom's clothes and try giving tips on how to make it better. Once my parents got me a sketchpad I let my imagination flow. I made the label for my parents' bakery as well!" (A/N: Shush, I haven't been interviewed before 😝😂)

"Wow Marinette, have you been interviewed before?" Adrien asks surprised.

"Umm well Alya and I practiced a lot?"
