Forth ended up sitting with Beam beside the pool the next day.

"So... you reached your dreams" Beam smiled at Forth.

The Forth of his dreams. The Forth that taught him the meaning of living to its fullest, taught him how to actually enjoy his fucking life. The same Forth who became his best friend. The Forth... who changed his entire life. The Forth he fell in love with.

"Yeah, I have just the kind of life I ever wanted. All my dreams to reach the sky to never stop and never have the same boring life as the rest..."

"To never be ordinary, to run, to fly. Never stop or look back" Beam nodded with a smile. "I remember"

"Huh... I missed you Bee" Forth sighed and Beam looked down at his own feet that were dipped in the water.

"Yeah... me too" he replied softly.

"Really?" Forth asked sulkily. "Never tried to contact me. You didn't even come to see me off"

Beam was still staring at his feet. Then he looked up at Forth with a smile. "Like you were ever in touch with the ones who tried to contact you"

Forth sighed.

"So, a son huh. I told you didn't I? You don't need love and marriage to make babies" he joked.

Beam smiled thinly, still looking down. "Yeah... you did"

"So, you didn't adopt him. He's just so much like you" Forth laughed. "When he called Lam's fiance momma, for a moment I thought she was your..."

Beam laughed. Then he looked up at Forth with steady eyes. "I gave birth to my son"

Forth blinked. "Oh..." Was what he managed to say. His heart constricted. He couldn't imagine another man touching Beam that intimately. But then again... he didn't., so why won't someone else?

They both still stared at each other. "So... who's the father?" He was the one to look away this time.

Beam chuckled and looked down too. "A bastard"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah..."

"So, I'm your type then?" Forth asked in a hopeful tone and Beam laughed.

"You would love it" Beam joked. "You can never miss a chance to try and get in someone's pants, would you?"

"Nah, you're not someone to just flirt and sleep with and then move on" Forth stared up at the sky.

"Yeah... I remember" Beam nodded with a peaceful smile on his face. A smile so beautiful, Forth just sat there staring at him. "I'm someone to fall madly in love with".

Forth smiled. "That was seven years ago. You remember my words so clearly don't you Baramee?"

"Yeah, the thing is... while you were saying those words to me during high school Jathurapoom, you were also busy tying my shoelaces together so you'd go win the track race" Beam retorted. "To impress... what was it you called Wayo? A perfectly defective piece?"

Forth blinked. Yup, he remembered clearly. One of the many reasons he never gave himself the chance to fall madly in love with that pure and beautiful angel named Beam. Beam knew him. Beam was the only person who actually knew him, inside out. He was not worth a dime to even touch Beam's dirt.

"Well, in my defense, I did nothing with Wayo" Forth chuckled, acting all shameless. 'I found you' but he could only think to himself.

"I met Wayo" Beam chuckled. "About two years ago. He's dating my friend. Well, sort of"
