Brave Rookie

The glow from my computer shined against me as people rushed all over the room. It is my first day being an agent for the US government and a outbreak started in Raccoon City. A few hours ago I got notified that the city was going to be destroyed with a nuke.

I can only hope the survivors got out before it went up in flames. The huge screen in front of the entire room showed as the nuke went off and destroyed Raccoon. Many people stopped running around and sat down.

"Ms.L/N," another agent came up behind me, "you are needed."

I nodded to him and stood up. I walked with the other agent into the hallway that was less crowded and quiet.

"There is a survivor that the director wants you to talk to," the agent explained, "the director would like you to stay with the survivor because he will become an agent. His skills are exactly what we were looking for."

"So I'm just supposed to stay with this person to do what?" I questioned.

"Since you are both rookie agents you will learn with eachother until you get sent on your first mission," The agent answered before walking away, "go to the directors office." He said before he was out of sight.

I turned away from where the agent was heading and made my way to the directors office.

When I made it there I knocked lightly on the door. "Come in," i heard from inside.

"You asked for me?" I peaked my head in to see the director sitting in his chair behind his desk. There were two chairs in front of the desk. One was taken by a dirty blonde boy with a ripped up RPD uniform.

"Yes, please, take a seat." The director notioned me in.

I walked in and took the seat next to the blonde and looked at the director, "Y/N, I noticed you have had an amazing performance lately both on your physical and social experiments."

"Thank you director," i thanked him.

"This is Leon Kennedy, he is one of the survivors of Raccoon city and has been chosen to be an agnet and work along side you." He went on to explain.

I looked over at Leon but he didnt seem to happy, "you two can go now, try to get to know eachother before your first mission." The director let us leave.

"So you survived Raccoon?" I tried to start a conversation as we walked down the hallway.

"I am, you just started working as an agent?"

"I have, say you don't look particularly happy to be here. Any reason for that?" I looked over at him.

"I didnt want to be here, wasnt my choice. I was picked to be here for my skills but don't think the whole agent look suits me."

"Well it looks like you were a cop, now you're just a step higher." I smiled at him to lighten the mood.

"Thats good I guess, did you hear anything about what our first mission is going to be?" Leon asked.

"I'm not sure, but we should probably get to know eachother until then."

Leon looked at me with a smile, i think our first time meeting is going well.

~Time Skip~

It has been a few weeks since Leon became my partner. We have grown quite close with eachother and work well as a team.

"Y/N?" Leons voice echoed in our barren apartment room. We were put as room mates in an apartment building because we are partners.

"Yes?" I looked over at him.

"I know this is probably against guidelines or whatever but I dont really care," Leon walked over to me and lightly put his hands on my upper arms, "i was wondering if you want to maybe go out with me sometime? You dont have to but I've grown to like you and want to maybe be closer to eachother." Leon had a nervous smile.

I giggled a little and blush ran across my face, "i would love to." I was excited to hear that he wanted to go out with me. I did like the rookie and wanted to ask him out myself, guess he beat me to it.

"Our mission could be like a date, a kick ass, dont die date." Leons joke made me laugh and put my arms adound his neck.

"That would be an amazing and undercover date."

So ngl this story kinda sucked but to be fair I had no idea what I was writing.
I might make a story about their 'undercover date', i might not, i don't know yet.
But I do hope you liked the story anyway^^
