what if the potters survived
Ginny was waiting for her father to come down for breakfast she remembered today was Harry's birthday her dad had told a lot about him to her . the messages that Harry gave to her dad to pass on to her. She had wrote a letter and packed a gift for him too, this was the first time Ginny have written to him so she was a bit nervous about sending it to him . she heard footsteps coming she looked up to see her father smiling at her
" I love you , Pops! Good morning " she said and kissed Sirius cheeks this was their daily routine to tell each other that they love them and kiss their cheeks .
" I love you too Princess and Morning" Sirius kissed the top of Ginny head. "What would you like for breakfast today?"
"I'll have eggs and pancakes"
"How can you eat eggs and pancakes at the same time? ....... anyway today is -"
"Harry's birthday and I am coming with you" Ginny said hoping this time she could go
"you can write him a letter darling but going their I don't think so "
Ginny sigh and took a sip of her milk it was worth a short she thought she looked up to see him still staring at her . Timmy came at set the breakfast for both of them
"you know that I am not trying to distant you from the other or to keep you locked inside the house , it's just they won't deserve to meet you until they- "
"until they trust us. I know pops and I also know you are not locking me up Draco comes to visit and play sometimes anyway , and then I have Tonks too. I just want to meet Harry as well he seems like a good person the way Ron talks about him I think I would like to meet him and I just want to go some where with you as your daughter I have yet to be introduce to many people as your daughter I....."
She looked up to see her pops smiling at her with a weird grin on his face she looked at him for a full minute and then raised her eyebrows
"what? why are you smiling like a madman ....... what going in that head of your pops??"
"absolutely Nothing "he smiled "I have to send a letter to harry do you want me to add your wising in it as well ?"he asked eating his eggs and still keeping the smile
Ginny looked at her pops for another minute thinking what have got him all smiling and grinning she was sure it wasn't her speech she gave him about her being introduce as his daughter and all
" I have wrote a letter to him wishing him happy birthday already I'll give it to you send it with you're letter will you?"
"okay princess ."
"pops?"
"hmm?"
"what are you smiling at please tell me , you know when you do that it either me getting pranked or you having Fun when I am not ....tell me pleaseeeee" she gave him a cute little pout which he can never resist
"well first don't give me that pout you know very well it's my weakness and second i was thinking to take you with me to Harry's Birthday"
Ginny was looking at her pops in surprise
"But? I know there is a but I know you will not do this without having a condition "
"ahhh..... my very very intelligent daughter I know you will talk to everyone like they deserve and you know not to tell a lot about yourself and everything we know and are doing so I was thinking to not waste my condition on such silly things "
"Pops.... tell me already !"
"okay okay! that temper of your mother you have is not good for other people ....... anyway if you want to come you have to wear something girly and by girly I mean dress and heels and whatever the other things are"
Ginny was looking like she was going to explode , the thing is that she is not like other girls playing with dolls and wearing dresses are not her type she love to fly and is best at chasing her wardrobe was full of T-shirts , Jeans , shorts , shoes , Leather jackets and boots but Sirius always had brought her dresses, heels, skirts and tops she hardly wore those the only time she wears dresses are Sirius's Birthday , her Mother's Birthday and her parents anniversary day . she have been spending all her time with almost boys like her Weasley brothers , her grandpa , uncle Reggie's portrait and Draco and of course her Pops. Draco was one of them who had tried to make her wear dresses when he takes her out to play with his friend but one stare from her and he looses the battle Draco was not all nice person but Ginny sets him straight he is terrified of Ginny. No one not even Grandpa Artie have succeed on making her wear dresses on daily basics , when asked why her response is 'it's not comfortable ! how am I suppose to fight wearing a dress it will only slow me down' she looked at her Pops like asking if he really asked her to wear a dress
"You want me to wear a dress" she asked again and slowly to make sure she heard correctly
"yes my princess I 'TOLD' you if you want to come you to have to wear a dress and not any dress but the Royal black knee length dress the one with the lace it looks elegant !"
"FINE! I'll wear the black dress and whatever you select for me"
she got up looked at her father and smile and said "beware of the pranks coming on you're way" she smiled again and walked upstairs saying that she will send the letters to Harry now. after realizing what she said he shouted "YOU WILL NOT PRANK YOUR OWN FATHER MISS " and run behind her.

Things went as usual both father - daughter started with the training then Sirius went for working and Ginny to the Library to study as evening came Sirius told Ginny to get ready Sirius had asked Tonks to help Ginny for getting ready . as soon as Ginny entered her room she saw a black dress hanged near the mirror with sliver heels laying on the floor she sigh and went to bathroom for washing her face and then changed into the dress as soon as she finished brushing her hairs and tying them in her usual braids Tonks entered in the room
"Wocher Ginny"
"hey Tonks ! let me guess Pops told you that i need help in getting ready like a 'Girl'"
"yep he did now come on you are not wearing your hairs like that and lets fix you up properly"
After 10 minutes Ginny was all done. she was wearing a black dress with sliver heels and hairs putted into a bun she was looking stunning

She walked down where Sirius was waiting for her as soon as she walked Sirius looked at her with jaw open and eyes popped
"Okay so I think it was not a good idea to make you wear that. now I have to be sure that boys don't stare at you...... GOD! and I thought I won't have boys problem till you are 13!! WHY ARE YOU SO BUTIEFULL ? "
"POPS! you are just saying that because I am your daughter ......... and don't worry I Love you more than I love anything"
Sirius smiled at her soon to be 10 years old daughter and kissed the top of her head he thanked Tonks , took Ginny's hand in his and walked out to the car .Sirius loved Cars and Bikes he love to use them he opened the door for his daughter , started the car and drive it to Potter Manor with usual chatting and jokes with her daughter
