See Me
Meet me at the spot in the crossroads that I am already occupying.
I will gladly decline the plane ticket you brought me,
I don't want to only be confined to your routes and times of arrivals.
See me, for I am, more than a reflection–
you can come inside through my windows and revel within my deeper depths.
Please don't muddy my space your ideals
And please don't leave a stench of presumptions of what I need to be doing.
See me,
for all that is molding, metamorphosing, and ruminating,
Into someone who was better than yesterday;
But, until the sun stretches to be in the sky for another morning.
I need you to,
See me. - T. Renee
