A decision... An accident...  And a guardian angel...

I am Amos Le'Sack and this is my story!

To begin with I've always loved New York. Most of the time. It started to become my nightmare when we moved in Brooklyn. We as in my parents and my little sister.

In the age of 16,  due to money issues we were forced to consider moving from a comfortable, private house in a rich and quiet neighborhood in Manhattan to a less rich and quiet neighborhood.
We didn't move out  until I was 18 though... In the 24th of a freezing cold December , for my 18th birthday, the great surprise present  was me and my family moving in Brooklyn. In the seventh floor of an almost destroyed 'house', one wouldn't even consider it a survival shelter , in one of the neighbors that suffer most from crime, violence and danger: East NY.

Raised not as a spoiled child, I started working in a job while preparing for university. That until I started working 2 jobs because we were suffering from taxes, loans and debts and I decided to skip university for a year. That year became 2 and then 3...

Now I am 24 and still haven't had the possibility to start university. The more time passes, the less I believe I will ever have the possibility of studying and becoming a lawyer. Well actually the less I intend to...Respecting and following the laws is not really the solution. Especially in such difficult terrains.

This spring I was offered a job as a professional racing driver , something I'm seriously thinking of dedicating my time to. Especially now that my sister Esma starts high school and I want to be able to take her away from this sh*t hole. Even with the help of our parents, that isn't enough. I have to contribute more.

Now, shall I finish with the boring stuff?! It's not that I never had a good day in my life :P

Rewind to high school era. It's when the interesting stuff are worth telling.

Not having the purest heart among high school students, I've usually been called the black sheep of the family. And to whoever called me that , I'd always replied "I'm not a sheep, I'm an wolf."  Quite the self esteem ! Although this proved their point , I still enjoyed my victorious comeback. Not to forget to mention my rough behavior was activated outside the walls of the house, inside of them I was quite the 'sweetheart'.

Raven black hair boy with brown eyes. Never missed a chick. Always the first to show up at a part and the last to leave. But a bookworm in disguise. One would never ruin the reputation of so hardly won title bad boy by being seen with a book. So stupid of me to think so, I know right!

Before I forget, my nickname was Jet Black. Important or not, you decide.

We love people who don't love us back, while being loved by other people that we don't love back... So complicated. High school's not easy.

Ok, I'll admit before things get mixed up, I liked a girl since the third grade, Allison. But God knows why she never liked me back. Our ways separated when we attended different high schools. I still like her, but not as much as in the beginning, considering the fact that she has had the same boyfriend since we were 16. Like who keeps a relationship for so long right? Am I not enough of a temptation to leave any other BoY  -   fRiEnD ??!

I realized that another girl, I'm not sure how to put this in words... , I'll stick with "Liked" me in high school. Most girls liked me and I knew this. But I find this girl liking me quite Unexpected since I, had a big fight with her in the first year of high school, never talked to her for the rest of the second year of high school, or when I'd speak to her during that time I'd offend her. We only kind of talked during the last year of high school but only till December because I had to leave after. Now that I think of her she was quite polite and smart, annoying to me of course,... In different circumstances I'd dare and call her sweet. But not in these given circumstances, unfortunately! Laila's her name.

Quite the asshole, yeah I know! But I'll leave this topic of discussion for another time.

I introduced these 2 girls because they are crucial part of my story.

And here comes the big lie reveal....

We told everyone we knew that our family was moving to Europe, in Germany. Sad reality, we would still be in the same state. Even though to me the new neighbor seemed as a whole different world. As a result of the big lie we were forced to cut all our contacts with our old friends and people we previously knew. We were on our own, lonely!
