Imagine
You and Mike had just moved to a new part of town. Neither of you were familiar with the new neighborhood, so you guys barely went out. One day Mike goes out for a run, and you tell him to be careful and to try to not get lost.
"You're not familiar with the neighborhood yet, you might want to wait a while."
He disregards what you say, "it's alright, I won't get lost."
After about an hour that he's been gone he sends you a text, "I'm lost."
You shake your head and laugh as you type a respond, "I'll come find you."
You get a response rather quickly, "nevermind, I think this is our house."
Mike walks into the front door, out of breath and sweaty. You just laugh at him, "i told you so."
"Yeah yeah yeah, whatever you say (y/n)"

I thought of this while waiting for the ballet class before the one I attend to leave so I can dance.
