Closer Towards You (Kageyama Tobio x reader)

Group Trip Pt.1

"A trip?" Hinata asks.

You were currently eating lunch with Hinata, Kageyama, and Sugawara.

"Yeah, I got six tickets from my uncle. It's for an amusement park that's near one of his inns. So it's going to be an overnight trip, two days one night, this weekend. Since we don't have practice this weekend...I was wondering if anyone wanted to come with me and Hitoka?" You say.

You had already asked Yachi and she agreed to go.

"Sounds fun, but I already made plans with someone," Sugawara says.

"Is it with Daichi~" You lend over and whisper in his ear.

After you and Sugawara broke up, you found out that he has a big crush on Daichi. Now you just tease him about it to no end. (I had to add some gay)

You see him blush, and he slowly nods his head.

You chuckle a little. 

"What about you two?" You ask Hinata and Kageyama.

"Yeah, I really wanna go. It sounds super fun! Right Kageyama?" Hinata says.

"Yeah, I'll ask if I can go," Kageyama says.

You nod your head. 

"Alright, now I just need to see if two more people from the club wanna come." You say.

~~~After practice~~~

"Did you find anyone else who wanted to come?" Hinata asks.

You decided to stay with Hinata and Kageyama so they can practice some more while everyone else went home.

"No. I asked everyone in the club and they said they already made plans or just don't want to go." You say as you sigh in defeat.

"I'm sure you'll find more people to come, (Y/n)," Kageyama says to you.

"Thanks, Tobio." You say.

"(Y/n), don't you have other friends you can ask?" Hinata asks.

It then hit you.

"That's it! You're right Shoyo!" You exclaimed. 

You then pull out your phone and start sending a message. 

~~~That weekend~~~

"Hey over here!" You yell as you wave Hinata and Kageyama over towards where you and Yachi are standing.

You were currently on a platform, waiting for the next train to come to take you to your stop.

"Why do we have to leave so early?" Hinata asks as he yawns.

"So that way we can have more time to enjoy all the rides at the amusement park." You say.

"Are we still waiting for the other two people to come?" Kageyama asks.

"Yeah...but it seems like they're running late." You say with an irritated look.

"(Y/n), um...who exactly are they two other people joining us?" Yachi asks.

"Yeah, That's right! You never told us! Who are they?" Hinata says.

"Oh, I guess you're right. They're-" You then get interrupted when you hear someone.

"Yahoo, (N/n)~" 

"It's about time you got here Tooru, Hajime." You say scolding them.

"Yeah sorry, shittykawa was taking too long to get his stuff together." Iwaizumi says.

"No way! It's the grand king and the ace from Seijoh!" Hinata exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, these two will be joining us on our trip." You say.

"Wow, this is awesome, right Kageyama?" Hinata says as he jumps up and down.

"I guess so." He said as he glared at Oikawa.

"Oh lookie, it's Tobio," Oikawa says as he glares back.

"Hey, stop glaring at each other. This trip is about having fun, not glaring at each other the whole time. Anyway, we need to decide who is sitting with who." You say.

"Let's do rock, paper, scissors. Whoever gets the same thing as someone else is who is sitting together." Hinata says.

"It's worth a try." Iwaizumi says.

You nod your head. You all gather around and say, "Rock, paper, scissors!"

You were all on the train which was currently moving to your destination.

"Tooru, you better not scare Hinata." You say.

This was the seating arrangement:

Yachi & Kageyama (across from you and Iwaizumi)

Iwaizumi & You (behind Oikawa and Hinata)

Oikawa & Hinata (In front of you and Iwaizumi)

"Why would I try to scare him? All he's doing is just asking me questions to no end." Oikawa says.

You and Iwaizumi laugh.

Kageyama's Pov

I was looking over at (Y/n) as she and Iwaizumi were laughing at whatever Hinata and Oikawa were doing.

I felt a pang of jealousy hit me.

"I wish I could sit next to her," I say.

"Next to who?" Yachi asks.

'Crap...I said that out loud' 

"Oh, it was nothing, just mumbling to myself," I say quickly.

"Oh, I see. Um...Kageyama can I ask you something?" Yaichi asks.

"Sure," I say.

"I've been noticing that you stare at (Y/n) a lot lately...is it because you like her?" She asks.

"Huh? W-well...I...I do." I say.

I couldn't bring myself to say it's not true.

"I see. Well, I hope everything goes well for you. To be honest, I was a bit surprised that you actually fell for someone, but at the same time I was relieved." She says.

"Oh, I guess I was surprised too, especially since it was with (Y/n), I just saw her as one of the amazing upperclassmen, but I started seeing her differently and I ended up falling in love with her," I say.

I see Yachi nod.

~~~Two hours later~~~

Third-person Pov

You all get off the train finally making it to your destination. Since your the only one who had been there, you led the way to the Inn you would all be staying at.

"Welcome to Ashi's Inn." You say as you put your hands up and show the building.

"Oh wow, this place looks so cool!" Hinata exclaims.

"Yeah, this is just one of many, my uncle runs a chain of these inns in the country." You say as you all walk in.

"Hey, Hey, Hey! Is that (Y/n) I see." You hear a voice behind you say.

You turn around to see that it's.......
