~~~A week later~~~

You were making your way to the cafe you had taken Kageyama to previously but this time it's going to be for your first date with him.

Kageyama had messaged you about going on a date, so you agreed and made plans to have the date on Saturday.

You arrive at the cafe and see Kageyama standing in front of the cafe waiting for you.

"Hey Tobio, I hope I didn't make you wait too long." You say as you reach him.

"No it's fine, I wasn't waiting long," Kageyama says.

On the contrary, he had gotten there an hour early because he was so nervous about the date.

"Let's head inside." You say.

Kageyama nods his head. 

You both enter the cafe and head towards an open table in the back.

"I'll go order, what do you want?" Kageyama asks.

"I'll just get the same thing as you." You say.

"Alright," Kageyama says as he goes up and orders.

You spent about an hour or so at the cafe, then Kageyama took you to the shopping center.

As you were looking around at the little shops, you didn't notice Kageyama buying something from a shop.

You continued looking around for about an hour before Kageyama decides to go and take you to a park that's nearby.

"So far this has been really fun Tobio." You say.

"You think so? I was worried you wouldn't enjoy yourself." Kageyama says.

"How can I not enjoy myself while going around town and getting to go on a date with my boyfriend." You say slightly blushing.

Kageyama blushes at your statement.

He opens his mouth to say something but gets interrupted by someone.

"Oh, (Y/n) is that you?" You hear someone say.

You turn around and see Reko Haruno.

"H-Haruno?" You say.

"It's been a while since I've seen you (Y/n). Oh, are you on a date?" Reko says.

"It's none of your business." You say to her.

"Wait a minute, I think I've seen you before," Reko says talking about Kageyama.

"That's right, you're Tobio Kageyama, you were an underclassman back at Kitagawa First, people called you a genius setter and Oikawa's prodigy. My (Y/n), first you go and date Oikawa and then later break up with and I presume some other guys who play volleyball, now you're going after an underclassman, are you trying to break guys' hearts, my aren't you a slut." Reko says with a heinous tone.

You were about to let your anger get to you and punch Reko, but Kageyama stops you.

"You're wrong about (Y/n), she would never do that," Kageyama says.

"Tobio." You say quietly, glad that he doesn't believe Reko.

"You think you know her? She went out with Oikawa because she knew I liked him, so she asked him out just to make me angry and before graduation, she had the audacity to break up with him then move to a different school, how shameless! She's just a slut looking for attention!" Reko goes on spouting lies.

"Are you sure you're not talking about yourself?" You say.

"Uh! How dare you, you whore!" Reko says.

"That's not a nice thing to say about my best friend Haruno," Oikawa says appearing out of nowhere.

"O-Oikawa, you heard that?" Reko says.

"Yep, every single word since you appeared," Oikawa says.

"Look, I was just joking around, you know as friends do," Reko says as she chuckles nervously.

"I don't recall ever being friends with you." You say.

"You know Haruno, the people I hate the most are those who lie and do terrible things to other people who've done nothing wrong, which was I never considered you as someone I would date," Oikawa says.

"Uh, How dare you! You know I'm out of here and never talking to any of you losers again." Reko says as she starts leaving.

"Oh no, what're we ever going to do without you." You yell sarcastically as she disappears from your sight.

"Are guys alright, thank goodness I stepped in when I did, or else you would have sent her to the hospital, though that would have been what she deserved after what she did to you," Oikawa says.

"Yeah, thanks for helping out Tooru." You say.

"What do you mean by what she did to you?" Kageyama asks.

"You haven't told him?" Oikawa asks.

You shake your head.

"Well you should, I would do it but I don't think that's best," Oikawa says.

"Yeah, I'll do it." You say.

"Then I'll get going, sorry for interrupting your date," Oikawa says before he leaves.

You wait until Oikawa is out of sight to start speaking again.

"What Tooru was talking about was how I got injured which caused me to quit volleyball." You say as you face Kageyama.

"That girl just now had something to with it?" Kageyama asks.

You shake your head and say, "Yeah, she does, it's different from what I told everyone back then, and I haven't told anyone about it, except Tooru and Hajime."

"What actually happened?" Kageyama asks.

"Well..."
