Lara's POV
The first half of the school day had been hectic and I was glad the fun part was about to begin. Silas kept me company for most of it but my final classes were with Evie.
"So what kind of training will I be getting exactly?" I ask her while we walk out of the school buildingand towards the training area which seems to be really far. She seems a bit distracted looking at her phone which i was surprised to see people with, I had assumed they would use magic mirrors and what not.
"Well it looks like you'll be having mostly physical training considering you're a hunter..... which means you'll be mostly with the vamps and wolves." The way that flows naturally from her mouth makes me feel so odd considering this whole thing is still very freaky to me.
"Hey so how does you being a witch work?" I ask trying to get the slightest insight on what she has to offer. "Well it's kinda simple all witches are divided into two major categories celestial witches and terrestrial witches.... in other words witches of the heavens and witches of the earth."
"And so is that like a power distinction or what?" I try to further the conversation and at the same time quench my curiosity. "Well the celestial witches are more powerful than the terrestrial witches cause most of them basically have all the powers we have and more all though the most powerful of all would be the solar mancers"
My eyebrows furrow with confusion she gazes at me and smiles "sorry lemme break it down a bit more..... so under the terrestrial witches there are pyromancers, aeromancers, hydromancers and geomancers" she takes a pause
I shake my head smiling "I've watched avatar you could have just said water, earth, fire and air" I laugh she giggles a bit with me then smiles "okay you wanna hear the rest or not" I nod and she continues
"While under the celestial category we have solar and lunar mancers they're basically the most powerful kinds during the war the hunters, wolves and vampires tried thier very best to hunt them nearly to extinction but few survived so we have some in school here."
My curiosity about witches is suddenly undermined by her second mention of this supposed war. "Okay hold the phone you know I did history........ so when the heck did this supposed war even happen."
She laughs and looks at me like I'm a child just learning the alphabets which royaly pisses me off I try to just breath out the frustration which usually never works but this time it did. I nod my head which signals for her to continue.
She gives a small smile,"well the war went on in secret in fact some natural disasters that happened in the last 6 centuries weren't natural at all. Most of them were witches trying to take out thier enemies."
I nod in response to the story she had told me which I had to admit was pretty cool. We finally get to a mini stadium where she smiles and says. "This is where we part ways seeya roommie."
She's about to walk away when I grab her by the hand. "One last question where do you fit into all this?" I ask with a little smirk on my face
She rolls her eyes then says "I'm an aeromancer incase it didn't sink in from when I use air to levitate a book and wack you with it" she gives a mean tilted smile I smile back at her in the same manner then walk away to where my map that I had acquired from silas showed me my class would be.
It's at the moment I pulled out the map I remembered I wanted to ask her about silas and the mystery hooded guy from my math class I pound by wrist against my forehead before rolling my eyes and dragging my self to where I need to be.
<~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>
I get into a room that had a few people in it already. They don't really have anything doing as it seems they're all waiting on someone. And I doubt it's me.
