"वह बोझ ढोते चलता ही रहा
रही से ना पूछा
मंज़िल है कहां?
साथी से ना पूछा
साथ दोगे या नहीं?
बस बोझ ढोता चलता ही गया।
ढूंढते सितारों के बीच में
कहीं खोए सूरज को ।
मांगी न मोहलत
ना मांगा साथ किसी का।
हाथ थामने न आते थे
जब भी लड़खड़ाते वो चलता था।
फिर भी!!!
आसूं पोंछता
नींद को सुलाता
गम को मीठी
बातें सुनाकर
कहीं दूर भेजता
और फिर
बोझ ढोता चलता ही जाता ।"
English Translation : (ROUGH TRANSLATION)
"He keeps on going, shouldering all the burdens,
Never asking the passer by
Where is the destination? (Where does the road leads to?)
Never asking the companion
If he would truly
Go on with him.
He keeps on going, shouldering all the burdens.
He searches for the lost sun
Among the constellations of stars
He never asks for deferment
Never asks for company
Never has once any one reached
To help him ,
When he stumbles upon his path.
Even then!!!
He wipes his tears,
Lulls his sleep,
Speaks sweet nothings
To the never ending sorrows,
And asks them to fly away.
And with that, again
He keeps on going, shouldering all the burdens. "

This is a poem I wrote in my mother tongue and the translation is not something upto mark (🤧🤧). Also you may encounter many flaws in my mother language ( if readers understand Hindi, then i am sure you guys will encounter those mistakes). It's because of my dear faulty keyboard not letting me write it correctly.
